Full Day Exploring Kyoto! Fushimi Inari, Nishiki Market, Kiyomizu-dera Temple + More

- On this adventure, we have a fun and full day seeing some of the most iconic sights in Kyoto, Japan! We begin the day at the historic Kiyomizu-dera Temple, and then stroll the beautiful streets of Ninenzaka. Next, we stop at a unique Starbucks with tatami seating and try some treats exclusive to Japan! We find a fun souvenir at Glänta, where Courtney has a custom ring made. A stop at the new Nintendo Kyoto store is definitely necessary to check out the fun merch and photo ops. We finally make it to Nishiki Market and have a blast trying lots of tasty food! Also not to be missed is the Fushimi Inari Shrine and its thousands of red torii gates. We finish our day with a delicious dinner at Torisei Shimizu and a private onsen bath at our hotel.

I’m so glad you saved yourself for the local food. If you’re in a country I think it’s so important to try the real local food.
We caved for one fast food meal for convenience, but yes, we really wanted to try the local stuff. We are glad we did because we talk about those meals all the time!
Another amazing video! I took a day trip to Kyoto and there is so much to do and not enough time. I visited the bamboo forest, local temple and monkey island. However I love your adventure of Kyoto and the other areas that I didn’t have time to visit. Oh yeah I love Super Mario 64.

SO GREAT VEDIO !!!! My next ideal travel destination is Kyoto.😉 In the end of the last year ,i have been in Tokyo which i think more metropolitan in Japan 😄comparing with Kyoto. but here is one question which the e-pay is not much available. is that true ? looking forward your reply 😆😆😆😆
Thank you! We definitely used more cash in Kyoto than Tokyo. For example, the buses we took only accepted physical card or coins, and most smaller restaurants/vendors were cash only.

More of a personal question here but with it being a private onsen did that make it easier for y’all to be fully disclosed or did y’all have the option of not doing so? Considering most onsens are enjoyed and have a standard of entering disclosed.
For this particular onsen, you rent out the whole area so you can enjoy the onsen at your own comfort level, whatever that may be 😄
