We did not go to Universal Studios this time, but we'd love to go in the future! We were able to visit the bamboo forest on this trip, it was so cool to see in person. We might pack our own pillows next time if we stay at the Universal hotel 😂

@@JohnGettler Yes, we tried out new mics which filmed in stereo as opposed to mono. Thanks for pointing this out! The next video should be in stereo and then hopefully after that it’ll be in mono with some much fixing 👍🏼

That is a great question! We found that most cast members understood the main menu items in English so ordering was pretty easy. A good backup option is pointing to the menu and menu pictures. Also, some of the Japanese words for things are conveniently similar to the English pronunciations (ex. chicken nuggets and french fries). The Papago app was also helpful for us during the trip when we needed to communicate more in the stores, etc. We hope you have a wonderful trip, the Tokyo Disney parks are amazing!

Thanks for watching and the kind words 😊 the food is always great and Solvang is a must when we go to Madonna Inn. Yes, last we heard it closed down. We never got the chance to try it unfortunately.

These locations were relatively close, but definitely not walking distance from each other. You could make a day out of it! 😊 There were some other locations from the movie that we wanted to see, but they were a couple of cities away from these spots. Maybe we'll have to check them out sometime soon! And thanks so much for the kind words ❤️

Wish we had the dual sauce packets in the states, so cool! Australia is on the top of our list of places to visit 😄 This was a fun but tiring day. Osaka castle is out there 😅

@@TheMainStreetDuo Australia would love to have you! Please do come. If you want to know a little secret… Go to the mid north coast between Sydney and Port Macquarie. There are some very special waterfalls, bushland, beaches and things but they aren’t as crowded as Sydney and surrounds. In Wauchope there is a place called Timbertown. It has a working steam train and some cool Australian history. The Wingham museum is also worth a visit.

We caved for one fast food meal for convenience, but yes, we really wanted to try the local stuff. We are glad we did because we talk about those meals all the time!

They serve soba, Ramen etc. but Soba is their most popular dish so maybe that’s why. Thanks for the info! We definitely cleansed before and after 😄

I thought the same thing very underwhelming compared to the already existing coco kay and the new plan that carnival has rolled out

Unfortunately we did not get the full experience because the island wasn’t fully ready. Definitely wouldn’t call visiting a beautiful Bahamian island “boring” 😄

To be fair, the Imagineers were not looking to create a carbon copy of Coco Cay. The focus was first and foremost the Bahamian culture and natural beauty of the island. I think they achieved this greatly by being respectful of the environment as well - not building a giant water park a la Coco Cay. Natural beauty in the Bahamas on an island with great food and lounge chairs? Sign me up.
