- I found a beautiful solid oak dresser / tv stand at my local thrift store, and knew I could not leave this one behind. It had so much potential. I have been wanting to refinish a piece of furniture with some dark blue paint, and this piece was perfect for that.
Paint Color: BEHR Dynasty Chimney
Stain Color: OSMO 50/50 Light grey & Silver grey

new sub here!!!! very interesting how you buffed your stain and sealer in!! i have never seen that done before! this turned out amazing great job
A local furniture maker recommended it to me, it’s called OSMO and I really loved working with it myself. It’s commonly used on hardwood floors, and is very durable.
@@DaveyStruggle that is really cool!
Newbie here...what products are you using and what grade of sandpaper?
Thanks
Love it😍
Too bad that it could not have been stained all over.
Love it! ❤
Love it class job 👍👏🏼
I think the original color looks better, I just don't like colored furniture...I like the beauty of the wood...
Check out my most recent furniture makeover, which I stain the entire piece.

I like color furniture, but I also prefer natural wood color, especially the light wood colors

I love the natural top and how you preserved the original carving when door knobs!
What a perfect color I also loved the way you used the sander to Stain the top of your piece great job

Are you using a Wagner Control Pro by any chance? It sounds like the motor. What size spray tip are you using?
Yes, that is the same one I am using. I use the spray tip that is included with the unit. It’s the 515 HEA. I noticed the best performance with this sprayer when I thin out my paints just slightly.
@@DaveyStruggle I was worried it would need a finer tip so I haven't gave it a shot on furniture yet. I'll give it a shot since you're rocking out with the regular tip. I had a blast knocking out a couple rooms with it.
