When you freeze milk it’ll taste different. As it unfreezes you can shake the milk to kinda recombine it and fix it, but if it melts in good milk it’ll still make it taste off. If you use ice it just becomes a little diluted, maybe if you let the ice completely melt the milk will LOOK off, but it’ll taste completely fine. If i were to describe the taste of frozen milk uhhhhhhh A bland melted ice cream? ? ? Idk
The point is that, if you gonna drink it before the ice melt, which is the way ice makes your drink cooler, then just time it in the freezer. At one point in my life I used to drink milk as my main beverage of choice. The reason I stopped doing that is that I one time accidentally drank milk out of a cup that had water in it. It was so bad that I basically stopped drinking milk entirely after that.

I like how their only argument is "it's weird". I personally wouldn't do it, but their argument is incredibly flimsy. Also, ice isn't good in anything, it waters it down and you don't get as much drink. We have fridges for a reason, y'know?
If you ever get used to milk that's from a refrigerator that isn't working right and makes the milk almost or partially frozen it will taste WARM from a correctly working fridge. That's why i sometimes add ice if i want to drink milk but not wait for it to cool in the freezer. It's been like 5 years since that fridge got replaced and it still feels warmer than it should be to me.
I used to put ice in milk but the reason was, half the time the milk was kinda on the verge of going off and adding ice made it colder (but not solid) which negated the sour taste. But we only did it because it was seen as really wasteful to not finish a gallon, yet when we got a smaller jug, it didn't last long enough so we'd have to go out and get milk again, spending MORE money. (At the time, it was like almost $3 a gallon, or 2 something for half, so even though that's not much it was just enough over budget to not fuck with) Never got sick from it somehow? Idk man. All I know is we put ice in the milk to make it taste better, and then when we left that area that weird taste was acknowledged as "eugh dump it out, it's gone over".
Yeah, ice makes spoiled milk taste okay and totally worth the vomiting and diarrhea. I let my milk sit out until it's room temperature all the time just so it can spoil and I put ice in it.
