There were two tragic moments in this episode: Pascal's village being destroyed and 9S' memory loss & blackbox truth. There was a somewhat feel good moment when A2 and Pascal destroyed the giant structure. Everything was structured well in this episode.
The part of 9S is main story and the part of A2 you can to say it is a side quest. The berserker mode is an ability of A2 you can to use it whenever. It drain your life quickly and stop when you have 1 HP. After of use it you can't fight and you move slowly. About the ending of the anime I haven't idea what ending they're adapting, there are 3 possible endings still and an ending is the "happy" ending, or they can to do an original ending.

@@Kimisdomain01 Don't worry about the HP drain from B mode. As long as you equip a bunch of Healing chips, especially: - Offensive Heal (you heal every time you deal damage, scales by the damage amount you deal, so 180% damage bonus from B mode is counted) - Deadly Heal (you heal every time you kill an enemy, really useful for the flight unit section with 2B and 9S) - Auto-Heal (you automatically heal after not in the fighting stance, really useful for using fewer potions and when you have 1HP after deactivating B mode with A2, or after self-destructing with 2B and 9S). Equipping these should work well for A2 gameplay with B mode. She's really, really fun to play,
I have played the game about 5 times, and yet each chapter of this anime hits hard, A2's ability is something that is already available from the first moment that we can play with it and we can use it whenever we want, and the ending E o At the end of the anime I still have doubts that they will introduce us, in the game the ending E is more symbolic but there is a counterpart in the novel called "long story short" that tells us what was happening while we were passing the ending E, which I assume will be that ending. The one they will adapt in the anime, or simply Yoko Taro will surprise us, I am using a translator in case something was written wrong XDXD

The way Yoko Taro tell story is that you wouldn't know what happiness is if you don't know tragedy. Yes it's dark but the game ends giving you hope. Ending E is genius, I don't know how they will recreate this in anime mode 😂

@@Kimisdomain01 Given the original draft for the first episode, as well as the nature of the story changes so far, I'd say we'll be getting an ending that is emotionally the same, but different in how it happens. Ending E in the game required the player to be connected to the internet and actively engages the player, even breaking, nay, shattering the fourth wall to do so. How the Anime intends to translate that is anyone's guess, but there's a brief bit in the Intro that gives a possible hint on how it might go down.
