In the game exist 5 main endings and only one is the "good" ending, it varies depending on your final choices and character. About the virus it evolved and gain conscience they are the 2 red little girls, their objetive probably is explained in the next episode
Let's just say that the fates of The Resistance Camp and Pascal are quite different in the game, but knowing Yoko Taro, you should prepare for what's to come. Anyway, we're entering endgame now!
Well in the game Pascal got something worse than dead. So he got better treatment here. In the game pascal didn't send the children to the resistance camp. He hide them in the factory area. After Pascal and A2 survive the wave of attacker they found out that the children commit suicides because of the fear of war. Pascal asked you 2 things 1. Asking A2 to kill him Or 2. Asking A2 to delete his memories Most player will not kill Pascal after the story built up. And deleting Pascal memories was painful for the players

@@Kimisdomain01 If it's any consolation for you, my theory on how the anime can have a happy ending has not changed much since episode 1. Emil is not necessarily required. We're still on course, believe it or not.
This chapter is even worse than what happens in the video game, in the game they make you make a very difficult decision but it is nothing compared to what was seen in this chapter, this chapter hits hard, at this point I only know that they will animate the final D but I don't know how they will do it, in the game those routes rather than alternate versions could be said that each "ending" is the continuation of the previous one with the exception of A and B since these are simultaneous since they are the perspectives of 2B and 9S, routes C and D are the result of the fight that we see in the opening of 9S and A2, and what takes us to final E, which is the final ending of the game, and it's good to talk to yoko taro to find out what she has in mind. The head will be an enigma, if you knew what happens in the Drakengad games, which is one of their first games, I think that Automata is something "calm" XD
I like how the anime restructured the game, at the same time, it's an anime not a game so they don't have an obligation to let anyone but the essentials survive. Although the Pascal scene doesn't have nearly the impact as in the game the anime itself has Managed to deliver more emotional torment now, to the viewer and the characters. If Emil doesn't show up in the end for no reason to save the day it's all over.
I'm still wondering what "Process 11" is, though if my suspicions are correct, trying to revive anyone with it would be the worst possible thing you could do. as for Emil, you might say "That boy is our last hope" I say "No, there is another..."
