As a beginner, I've found your videos to be the most helpful. (BTW.. This is my first time commenting on a UA-cam video EVER.) For me, I need to know how things function and the variables the effect outcome. Thank you!
Great vid. I'm a righty when I was a kid learned I was ambidextrous (could hit a baseball left or right) ...what I've been noticing about my pitch is I can have either foot forward and my forward toe controls my bag flight right and left. I'm learning to control that in conjunction with dropping either side of my hand can actually go around a pile of bags on the board.
Hi Anthony. Thanks for your videos and analysis. They have really helped my game. I’d like to ask you about what kind of data is out there regarding pitch speed and trajectory and if there is any analysis on it?
Glad you found them helpful. Good timing on your question. We’re in the process now of designing and implementing a method of tracking bag trajectory on the ACL Pro stage. We’ll eventually be able pull data like release height, angle, speed, apex, and more.
I agree with most everything but I do believe that if you can master a little lower body thrust it absolutely helps prevent arm fatigue. In saying that I believe it should be minimal.
I don't get why most of y'all don't practice left and right handed like I do so you don't have to do any step out and just switch hands to be closest to the board at all times. Why is that? If you're a lefty like me it shouldn't be that hard to use your right since we use our right for tons of things already.
The dirty style game where the advantage of switch pitching would come into play is still new and may evolve there but I imagine it’ll be like baseball pitching where there just isn’t much switch-pitching. All the time and energy is put into high level pro play is put into 1 arm developing complex shots
@@anthonyayon9412 My first cousins brother in-law Stuart Graham is ranked around 150th in the world. Was 50th at one time but has been playing other tournaments lately and dropped in rankings. He practices about 30 minutes a day, so I figure if I practice a hour a day with both hands it might help out later on if I ever go anywhere with it. Hell, if I could just win 56K like he did last year I'd be happy. I don't have to be first. I'm pretty confident with both hands now, but definitely have no trick shots. I practice throwing 16 bags left handed, and then switch it up throwing back right handed. Once I start finding the hole more often I will work on other things. Right now I just do amateur tournaments around the area. My partner is usually my cousin thats Stuarts brother in-law. He's better than me right now, but I think we can both get a lot better. We've always been really good at sports and comes naturally to us.
I like how you show it live game action thanks and keep the videos coming 👌🏽👌🏽
Nice vid! Ida about the stepover phase out tho. I say let em step!
Great job Anthony! A deep dive into the mechanics that all cornhole players could appreciate from beginner to advanced.
Appreciate that!

Good stuff Russ! Glad you found them helpful
Awesome video. I love the analytics.

Well articulated. Thxs for shating ur insights
Great explanation of physics! I believe the term is “pop a wheelie”, like a kid on a bicycle. Keep it up- I’ve learned a ton from you!!!
Appreciate the feedback glad it helped

Ryan Windsor would agree also. He’s a good example of that
Is the tips of ur feet pointed at the hole or am I going into to much detail? And over thinking it
Thats definitely not too much detail. Good thinking. Yes a front foot pointed at the hole squares up the hips.

I've tried stepping,to me it's just another movement that's unnecessary
Me too and agree
You forgot the steppers that lunge over the line when the bag is released. Wish acl would make that illegal
