Ford now has updated drums for both the 10R80 and the 10R140 made with a lip that prevent the bushing from moving. Cheap and in stock too which is surprising, about $120.00. JL3Z-7H351-B is the part number for the 10R80 and LC3Z-7H351-B for the 10R140.
New vehicles sure seem to be not worth their asking prices. Too many reliability issues and too many defective parts come with the price tag which is well into $70,000 and up. Better off using older vehicles and fixing them to suit your needs.

Ford told GM to hold their beer 6L80 and the Ford 10 speed is the gift that will keep giving to the trans shops.
It was actually ford and gm together...nobody's holdin any beer😂
@@dalehall2993 True
Dumb that they don’t fix it, but good repair on the one you staked.
My dad's 2020 F350 had this issue. TSB 23-2160 repaired under warranty by Ford to replace the CDF clutch
This issue is only on the gas F250's correct? The diesels have different internals
Priceless information. Thanks🙏
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you for your vídeo!!!
My pleasure!

Electric cars will make these autos go away.
@@rtz549 Electric cars will but they also will have their own set of issues, that is guaranteed and lots more $$..
@@Garth2011 been driving one for years now. No maintenance.
@@rtz549 Tires and Brakes will come soon enough as will other items.
@rtz549 NO "electric" car will EVER replace my 7.3 GODZILLA TREMOR 10 SPEED WITH 4.3 REAR TRUCK...EVER!!!
Is there a tsb out for the 2022s?
Ford just released the official tsb 3 weeks ago now. Cdf drum is the only real failure weve seen, of course causing other problems if let go.
I agree, the A clutch was burned on this one.
So my 2022 7.3 is having issues with a flare between 3rd to 4th or 3rd to 5th also has harsh engagement
Where ya'll located?
Thanks for the video.
