I have this question: If I'm using testing with Debian 12 and launch Debian 13, can I just use apt dist-upgrade and my system will update to 13???

@@Nowtrin that's very interesting! So debian testing is kind of a rolling release. That was my doubt

Want to install Debian but still struggle to find the correct page for download.
    Maybe some sort of gatekeeping?

The correct page for download is literally the front page of Debian website. I think you're just trolling.

@@MrAlanCristhian Looks like my comment got eaten by UA-cam.
The front page of Debian website is netinst version of iso.
Due to my slow and unstable network, I want to download the iso via torrent with complete installation after trying out live environment.
Then I got overwhelmed by the "other downloads" webpage.

Use Linux mint. With debian, you need to install other small things in order to get it to work properly. It's not hard to do. But you have to follow some UA-cam tutorials to do so. With Linux Mint, most things ( like, playing music and movies, editing photos...etc) work out of the box.
