Can i ask What is the distance from nut to bridge? And is it accurate if i copied the fret distance of my strat or any guitar then apply it to my project ahovel guitar?

The shovel is made of tempered steel. That's why it's hard to drill. Carbide tip drill bits will drill it nicely and last a lot longer
