- HD Remake of this edit - • The Spot but it's Elec...
Soundtrack from Art Lover Ivy - • Why Electro's Theme is...
Felt like this underrated song fit perfectly with the Spot's evolution throughout ATSV, so I put them together.
(Did this for fun, I don't usually do edits so excuse the sloppy editing)

Man this was crazy. The fact that it fits him so well cause both villains have so much in common.
because that's almost every villain lol
- surroundings treat them bad
- singular bad event happens to them because PLOT
- singular bad event causes them to be more powerful
- surroundings still treat them bad
- doesn't even try to resort to other actions to do the right thing
- use power to go straight into doing evil stuff because "hurrrr durrrrr everybahdy must sufferrrrr far what they did to meeeeee"
now that I notice, it's almost exclusively every spider-man villain
@@johnakkman9993Minus Green Goblin. He’s evil just for the sake of it.
@Stranger_209Venom and Carnage too.
@Stranger_209 True, but that's only some incarnations. Sometimes, he's portrayed as a sympathetic victim of a bad hand in life.
@johnakkman9993 the spot is not exactly evil, he just trying to have a normal live and he is not every spider man villain. Is totally different of electro, he is just a weird guy that are a super fan to spiderman
The spot just wants revenge of spiderman, the others hurt the others for angry but not the spot.
Electro was a normal guy who had been used as a chew-toy by the world for years, before he got the power to bite back - and had the knowledge and drive to use it to its full potential. Spot was already a "supervillain," but was seen as a joke by everyone, but then realized his powers had WAY more potential than he used them for. In both cases, the movies saw their comics selves (basically "villains of the week") and went "Wait, hold up, we can DO something with this."
Plus in no way home. Electro basically wanted to live in a world where he wasn't a nobody.
This is why Electro is one of my favorite Live-Action villains, alongside Doc Ock
Both are scientist
Welcome to the world of comics, where interdimensional portal creation and shooting kamehameha's out of your pulse are considerated joker powers
@roseoliveira6709 This is why I like the concept of turning joke villians into world-ending superbeings.
I think Peter and Miles did some similar things,
1. They both are are chill and assume that Spot/ Electro are everyday villains
2. Over the period of time , both of them realize how devastating Spot/ Electro is
3. Both Peter and Miles are connected with Spot/ Electro indirectly
4. Spot and Electro are scared of their powers and want to fit in the society
and then things get messed up 💀💀
If I had a quarter everytime this happened I'd only have 2 which isnt a lot but its weird thats its happened twice
Spot and Electro also fell in science experiments (which sounds obvious)
When did Spider-Man underestimate Electro??! Peter put in more of effort to help Electro than Miles did.
Spot is basically electro if anything in amazing spideman 2 was well written or executed
@@lakshaykochhar6799Yeah, Peter was more like sympathetic to Max and was trying to control the situation by calming him down. But Miles just joked around with Spot.
It's honestly crazy how they took one of Spider-man's weirdest villains and turned him into a multiversal threat
He's always been this way, he was just never used properly
❤
To be fair both Spot and Polka Dot man were always ridiculously powerful, but they looked goofy so they were never given a chance
Spots powers were always pretty cool in all honestly but the name and his design really under sold how much potential this villain had, and now it’s fully realized in this movie
actually in the comics he kinda is
Spot and Electro are one of Spider-Man's most powerful villains but for story reasons, they never unleash their full potential.
We haven't seen Spot's true powers though. Let's keep the hype up for Beyond the Spider-verse
Because Spider-Man would die instantly.
@@khoailang9470 without the power up, he could cut people easily by closing those portals.
@@muhammadsoleh4725ya. Pero eso seria una condena para spiderman
@@muhammadsoleh4725that's what I've been saying. If spot was a killer, he would have ended spider society so fast. Nobody would rival him
The thing spot and electro have in common is "wrong place, wrong time" regular dudes, before being turned into freaks and monsters by the hero
well, max did it to himself im pretty sure
They both did it to themselves tho
I just realized that Andrew’s Spider-Man had a hand in creating all of his own villains.
One of my favorite things about his movies
This was something that I thought the MCU films really missed the mark on. Having Vulture and Mysterio be villains made from Stark that Peter just has to deal with just really didn’t feel right to me.
@@shinndig1293Vulture works imo because he's a scavenger, similar to an actual vulture. But I agree with Mysterio. They even got Jake Gyllenhaal and wasted him for a one off villain
❤
Not really?
Dr Connor’s would’ve tested his lizard formula any time, Electro would’ve gotten into his accident and be shot by the police eveb without Spiderman around and Rhino was always a villain, even Green Goblin would’ve existed without Spiderman since he used an untested Spider’s venom
Electro’s theme is so good and I’m glad it’s getting the recognition it deserves, if it came from a better movie (like Spiderverse) more people would’ve realised how good it was a long time ago
ive always been obsessed with it ever since tasm2 even though ppl dont like it that much i love the movie despite its hate from ppl. music goes hard
The amazing Spider-Man 2 was actually really good. The plot, the characters. It was deeper and more complex than most mcu and dcu movies. The real problem was the writing. With the complexity it had the movie itself failed to explain to the audience what exactly was going on and why characters make these actions and not other. If you watch your first time - it will look like a big mess and a disappointment. But the more you rewatch and think about it, the more it all makes sense. Bad script was it's main problem, if only we had something like a "director cut" that would ultimately improve on writing aspect, tasm2 would probably be one of the, if not best, Spiderman movie
My all time favorite piece of music from an OST, and from Hans Zimmer himself
@@dexter2898 If it got a director’s cut, the TASM project may be brought back
❤
If you stop at 2:41 at the right frame, you can detect a foreshadowing major spoiler for Beyond the Spider-Verse showing The Spot surrounded by many dead Spider-Men. I'm assuming he will going to kill them nearly at the end of Beyond the Spider-Verse. Crazy to see how a lot of people missed that!
❤
Oh god
Your right that’s scary af
I can’t wait for beyond the spider verse bruh 😭😭😭
Damn, scary asf😟
0:39- beginner boss fight
1:16- boss respawn
1:53- boss level powers increased
2:20- final boss level- survive
Yup, sounds like it
Indeed
1:16 POV: u got expelled
❤
It is crazy the amount of similarities between Jamie Foxx's Electro and Jason Schwartzman's Spot. What would have made this video is if you kept "Well, that was another easy win for Spider-Man ("NONONONONONONONO-")-"
Except the only difference is that Miles didn't even know Dr. Johnathan Ohnn before he became The Spot... He didn't. Even. KNOW. That he was there. Peter-3 saw Max as another person, before AND after he became Electro.
@@benjaminc.9015neither did The Amazing Spider-Man at first. So yes the similarities are insane
@@benjaminc.9015Andrew didn’t really know Max at first either. To him, Max was just another civilian. He couldn’t even remember his name at first.
@@potatoboy549 At least he acknowledged that Max was another civilian and didn't laugh at his face like Miles did with Spot. Or threw a bagel at him.
@@benjaminc.9015 Yeah, but to Max, Spider-Man lied in his "You aren't a nobody" speech and used him as a joke to get fame. The entire city ridiculing him didn't help either.
Man this theme Matches a lot with the spot
❤
Electro: “A world without power. A world without mercy…”
Spot: “I’m going to take everything from you.”
1:16 I love how this part of Electro's theme plays when Electro gets his powers, and it's also showing how Spot got his powers
❤
the way he walks / portals towards the control room his honestly intimidating to me, its the sheer confidence and sense of purpose in his walk that does it, he doesn't know the full consequences of what he's going to do but he does know it will make him stronger and couldn't care less
1:55 it almost sounds like someone saying "you and i" over and over, which easily fits Spot's desire to be Spider-Man's arch nemesis.
It says Denying, The Rising, The Crying, if you didn’t know.
But when you mention it it really sounds like that.
Denying. The Rising. The Crying. Im Dying
❤
Regular Spot: funny-lookin fancy-talkin doo-dad cartoon villain
Across the Spider-Verse Spot: *ELDRITCH ABOMINATION OF DEATH AND HORROR*
❤
2:20 just maked me feel stund and absolutely love the unfathomable power he achieved with the theme hitting it just right
❤
This song tells the story of someone who is kind, gentle and powerless. That person then suffers a great tragedy in their life that ruins them only for them to realize such an event left them with more power than they could ever ask for. Suddenly that kind, gentle person is gone, and now all that is left is a power crazed monster who recklessly releases their anger onto anyone they wish.
So suffice to say, this fits spot very well.
❤
Hanz Zimmer completely understands the medium of music! The slow build up resembles his increasing rage and hatred! The song starts of simple with orchestral music until it finally explodes into a mix of electronic music for when he finally becomes Electro and dark orchestrals. It just works!
❤
Spot is, in my opinion, electro done right. A background character whose treated as a joke, but because of Spider-Man, is turned into a god. They’re filled with resentment towards a world that ignored them, and towards Spider-Man, who never really cared about him. They both have AWESOME theme songs too.
❤
love the brief second right at the beginning where you can see spot after he gets juiced up. It's like he's waving at us, knowing we're watching.
i like the fact that he gets progressively evil as the song goes
❤
2:28 the music kinda gos in time with spots movement. Showing how chaotic Abd unstable he’s become
Idk man, he looks pretty stable to me, just mad asf
❤
Spot is a good analogy for man-made problems that you didn't pay the proper attention when you should've and now it has spireled into a much bigger and hard to contain problem. And this can be seen both in a low, everyday life level of things we inflict on ourselves, as well as a macro scale, like environmental problems
1:53 when he starts walking with the beat!!!
Oh hell yes
TASM: Max, nobody here thinks that you’re a nobody. Right, gang?
Gwen: Yeah.
The cops: Absolutely.
That sniper guy: Not at all.
TASM: See? Nobody here thinks that you’re some villain of the week.
Electro: They won’t after this. *zaps Spider-Man through a bus stop*
*Electro grabs two power cables and charges them directly into his body, then everything goes dark*
That sniper guy: Well, that was an easy day for Spider-Man-
TASM, Gwen, Cops: NO NO NO NO NO!!
*BOOM! Electro is fully charged and literally lights everything up*
TASM: Whoa! What was that?
Electro: My birthday gift.
TASM: Huh??
Electro: I’m gonna kill the light so that everyone knows how it feels to live in my world.
TASM: What??
Electro: See you at the party… Spider-Man.
I can picture Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, and Jamie Foxx saying these lines!
Nice writing
The spot: you're so selfish.
Miles spider man: stay with me,guy.
The spot: you set me up.
Miles spider man: no, i didn't set you up.
The spot: you create to me!
Miles spider man: no, i'm trying to help you. Let me help you.
@@gabrielpaterna7558 ......so I'm gonna turn off the lights.......so you can see how's a world.. without Spiderman.without hope...that the only thing shining......is the darkness of my holes
“Look who showed up! My nemesis, Spider-Man!”
“I’m trying to save you Johnathan, that’s all I ever wanted…”
“You’re not trying to save me…”
“I am!”
“You ain’t even the shit no more!”
*groans*
“Don’t worry about me, I saved myself…….. BURN UP!!”
Bro went from trying to cram an atm through a portal he barely understood how to use to a multiversal threat REAL FUCKING QUICK
As anyone noticed at 0:12 when the bat is teleported out of the store owners hand and into his face?
This is a direct foreshadowing to the mumbatan fight where spot says “I don’t even know how I did that! I’m in the zone!” After kicking Gwen.
The bat teleportation was an instinctual reaction hinting at spots immense power! I love this movie.
❤
Electro: "Now you see me."
The Spot: "Now no one will see me as a joke."
This Electro's theme with The sport is so beautiful
The sport 😂
The Sport
❤
The sport 🤯
The sport 🤤
Dude the timing on this is insane. Not to mention using the beat drop when he transforms. That's the cherry on top.
❤
Like how electro was in hs spider man movie, he a nerdy social outcast which is shown in his theme slowly turning into a electric peice with insane sounding voices but still retaining a little nerdyness with thr violin and piano u till the electric and iinsane voices get lowder then the piano and violin untill the theme is just triumphant dubstep without voices showing hes let himself go into is insane power while retaining alot of his sanity and how it lines up with each of spot scenes telling the exact same story of a nerdy outcast slowly coming to terms with the power that makes him go insane but in embracing it remains sane while loosing the caricature of the nerd and becoming a strong powerful person to fear. In short, well done on the editing mate.
1:50 love this segment cause it looks like Spot can hear the music and is moving with it 😂
❤
Just causally drops the hardest Spot video ever.
❤
1:50 the transition right here was so clean. Didn’t even notice it at first. Amazing edit.😮
❤
The Spot feels like what they were trying to do with Electro in TASM 2, but executed much better (sympathetic outcast who starts off weak but becomes a legitimate threat).
Also, 1:42 and onward goes hard.
This was incredible. I wish you got a little more attention for this
It fits well since both were underestimated, and the heroes lived to regret it
The glow up that Spot went through that movie makes him my favorite spiderman villan ever!
2021;Electro:"You're not gonna take this away from me."
2023;Spot(Disoriented):"I'm gonna take everything from you, like you took everything from me."
"now you respect me, because I'm a threat" -Syndrome
I genuinely hope that the Spot has a redemotion arc after seeing all the mayhem he's caused. He's too nice of a guy to die.
He's not really that nice of a guy considering all the mayhem he's caused.
He' could appear in avengers secret wars
@@Gufupandi09th13Probably as the Villian or the causant.
@@ItalysArtHouseAlso he worked on Alchemax
Is more that sure that he was already evil since the day 1
At this point redemption is out of the question. But I can definitely see a situation where'd he try to atone for his actions instead.
2:00 gave me chillss
❤
i love how they managed to make the SPOT a menacing villain.
Both of them have such a similar theme and story I love it
Both obssesed with spiderman, both had an accident that ruined their life
They both became almost un stoppable
This adds a whole new menacing element to the spot, imagine this combined with his theme song
crazy how 1 man was able to become a multiversal threat in a little more than an hour
That was awesome. The way Zimmer’s electro theme gets used from the beginning to the peak with spot’s evolution is well done
This is actually a genius idea... :O The Spot's theme is one of my favorites in this movie, but this works way better than I thought! :D
the collider exploding really emphasizes how hard of a beat drop the electro suite is.
I like how u made the music intensify everytime miles ignored or made fun of spot.
*"See you back home, Spider-Man!"*
I never realized how similar Electro and the Spot are until NOW. Spot is basically like him, but done RIGHT!🤯
I don't know why some dislike this godly theme it gave me goosebumps 3 times lol
Well Miles, you got some serious level grinding to do with your venom powers if you even want to stand a chance against Miguel and your adversary.
2:19 and on is one of the best synced edit I've ever seen. Tremendous work!
1:52 the increased choir goes so damm well with the portal skip, you synced the skips to the beat and i cant even begin to fathom how masterful you made it seem.
Even the 1:46 synced to paranoia as The Spot powers up for the first time and mildly convulses when the collision of the chest starts is masterfully done
“O, Spider-man. Now dawns thy reckoning, and thy gore shall glisten before the temples of man.”
-Spot prime
This is the day I realized that Electro's theme is a banger
Electro: “Do you see me?”
Spot: “Look at me! You did this to me! Look at me!”
This is so good What the hell !!!? I didn’t think it would go this hard !! 😳👏
Spot and Electro are those kids who were bullied in High School and then 5 years later became menaces to society.
The fact of how much in common makes it slap even harder than it already did
I guess in a sense....
Spot is Miles' Electro.
Electro's theme fits spot so well, people knows his story even if they didn't watch the movie with this song. 🔥 🔥 🔥
lil analysis of my own on electro's theme:
Electro's theme is impressive when you think of it in a thematic sense.
It starts as just casual music you would expect from seeing a character walking down the street, right? But it still has the vocals here and there, pointing out something isn't quite right. But then the vocals build up, and the music follows by quickening and then adding a continuous beat that is almost ominous and physically causes your heart to match up (emphasizing the anxious feeling).
As the theme continues, the beat becomes more dramatic and harsh, stressing you out while leaving a mysterious feeling, possibly encouraging the viewer to ask, "What's happening?" drawing them in while keeping that anxious and hesitant vibe towards the character. Then, of course, there is more build-up with the instrumentals, now adding a violin while the vocals are borderline screaming, almost yelling to the viewer for help as they get closer to their breaking point.
Then, FINALLY, we get the release of that panic and confusion within the static part using the vocals and the previous instrumental but boosted, continuing the feelings of insanity he's going through, showing how he finally lost it. It suddenly stops and dials down to allow the viewer to process it, only to build it back up with a crazy frenzy vibe. Then, it finishes with instrumentals that give off feelings of power, anger, revenge, and psychosis.
🙌👏
Both Spot and Electro are very similar, They're both nobody scientists that nobody respected then a freak accident occured and they learned how to use their powers in a dangerous way and they were both feared. Electros theme is so genuis it works with different characters.
(Edit: And they both went insane.)
01:53 My favorite part:
❤
The way he walks as that Orchestral theme plays is just badass
Damn.. Now I feel like I really missed out when I stopped watching any Disney (and thus Marvel) stuff when Episode 2 released..
And this theme... Hans Zimmer is such a genius.
I will never understand why people despise this soundtrack.
I think it's grown on most people
2:20
Well that was another easy adventure for SpiderMa-
*KABOOOM*
they both have a close story, having there life change, looking different and things changing, wanting spider man to take you for real and not think you are a joke.
This Man became a menace in less than 30 minutes
Miles and spot both literally made each other, spot was made as that forshadowed as that mural and Miles got made thanks to spots mistake ( spider 42)
Gotta love the fact that they took one of Spider-Man's most obscure and weirdest villains and turned him into a straight up multiversal threat.
0:00: Intro level enemy that is so weak you never see it outside of the first area
0:36: Challenging enemy.
1:16: Boss
1:40: Boss's health bar is low and it starts to regenerate.
1:54: You try to attack boss while it's healing, but it pushes you away and takes a bit out of your health. You can do nothing but watch as it enters its final form.
2:20: Emerald Weapon
WOW This is amazing! I'm looking forward to watch more of your amazing videos!
❤
So glad that Spot was chosen for this movie because when i first saw him in the 90s animated series i thought that a lot could be done with this guy and Spider-verse does it
If you pause at 2:41 you can see a glimpse of what spots gonna do to the spider society in beyond the spiderverse.
Я каждый раз поражаюсь безрасудству... нет, не Майлса, а учёных той компании, которые просто ржали с межпространственной аномалии, а не пытались его изуть.
Held it all in, and just let it all out.
1:40 “This is going to be good for us Spider-Man. You and me are going to live up to our potential. You'll finally have a villain worth fighting for and I won't be JUST A JOKE TO YOU!”
2:14 “You won't after this..”
2:20 its fucking perfect
Oh yeah baby, the perfect theme for a villain
Amazing. Perfectly balanced as all things should be
Correct!
This fits him so much because the first fight he had with miles he was so goofy
“I’m going to take everything from you, just like how you took everything from me.”
This gives me huge chills! Amazing work!
it does show how goofy he is, and then evolves into something terrifying!!
It’s crazy how this fits so well with the scenes
Electro: You... Created me.
Gwen: Pet- Spider-man. Why did you create that guy?
Spider-man: I-I didn't! He's talking crazy!
this fits perfectly with the spot. thank you for making this
Electro Jamie Foxx music was astonishing
this song is like when the main character is the boss fight. The main character finally snaps after all of the suffering, and he is the final boss. And this time you play as a villain trying to survive his rampage. But perfect video bro, electro's theme fits perfectly with the spot!
God-Level Threat.
Okay but the dubstep went way too perfectly with this scene which just proves to show how well this goes with spot 2:46
It fits so well
"Went One To One-Hundred Real Quick Ass Song"
"See you back home... Spiderman."
“Now they are no longer joke villains anymore…. They both have become death. Destroyer of all worlds.”
The theme is insane
