7.3L Powerstroke Start up after sitting for almost 8yrs

1997 Ford F250 Reg cab 4x4. truck had been parked in same spot for nearly 8years. With just over 171,000 original kms the 7.3PS engine is low mileage. With new glow plugs and fresh diesel engine started up right away and idles beautifully. The truck however is rotten, the engine will be pulled, serviced and installed in my 1997 F350 Dually which has just about 370,000kms

Had one I loved it till I sold it. It was a dump truck with an L Pack that I was tired of taking to weddings.

Well the fuel lines are rotten, has some spots of leakage. Just pulling this engine for my other tired high mileage truck

Haha! Yeah no 8 actuall human years, I didn't film our efforts to get it fired up. This video just shows its amazing idle once it got running. Impresses me anyways.

I didn't film our efforts to get it going, new glow plugs, fuel filter pump out tank, add fresh diesel prime lines. New oil. This is showing it idling amazingly well once it started.
