A good chat, when I saw the thumbnail I thought you were going to say Van Gogh's tobacco got you back into pipe smoking! Glad you beat off the covid. Thanks for posting.
The ongoing temperatures have ramped up out here in the Desert Southwest of Arizona as well. We're looking at 110°F or more for at least the next few weeks. Hopefully y'all are cooler than that and the humidity stays away. I am glad you're on the mend and back to enjoying a smoke. I too have purchased many different blends from Byron and enjoy most. It is frustrating to really love a blend to perhaps never see it available on a regular basis afterwards. Anyway, enjoy your weekend and continued recovery. God is good!
Hello Ron! The heat here has been miserable 🥵 The ground is bone dry, it’s really been a hot, no rain summer. It was 105f the other day here. It felt like Arizona weather was vacationing in Oklahoma 😁 Hope you and the wife are well 👋🏻❤️
Enjoyed the video! Was wondering what pipe you are smoking? It seems to be on the smaller side for a bowl.. could just be an illusion but I love smaller pipes!
Glad your feeling better, that crap is for the birds. Anyway great to see you again and I hope you can get some more of the blends you like although I really don't think that will be possible unless somebody sends you some that they didn't like. Anyway see you later,Tommy
Watched this and your Burley post back to back. Highly recommend Burley Morning Pipe. Also really enjoy Peter Stokkebye's cube cut burley. And I normally don't consider myself a burley fan. Enjoying your videos. It will cool down soon enough.
Well, after watching this video weeks ago, I did get some Golf Fore Glory!, and it was some of the best tobacco I've smoked. It was gone by the end of July-a limited release. Now thinking of a couple more like Mr. Christian's San Valentino and Burley Morning Pipe. BTW, I like your use of Van Gogh art in the video.
Forgot to mention the collaboration with Eldritch Pipes, Goblin City (formerly Goblin Mixture) is a favorite of mine. I was fortunate to nab several ounces a while back...yum yum, getcha sum!
You should wait a little longer before smoking any aromatics ( if you smoke aromatics ) they are definitely more irritating to your lungs especially if you had Covid - I learned that the hard way :)
It's weird, they are located in a small strip mall in Collierville (Memphis), Tennessee but I've never heard of them here. I drive right past them weekly. They must be a closed/factory style shop and not have a store that's open to the public. That's a shame since we lost a local favorite in the pipe scene, Tobacco Corner. I ordered some Uzumaki and Meditations from them.
Hey fellow piper, as I see you are pretty avid concerning the flavors and different comparisons of tobacco. I think the first time I smoked an English was 1975, the first tin note that I remember and to this day I still experience, is something akin to salami. would you agree with that in someway? anyone else ever brought that aroma into the conversation. Because I swear it smells like salami, to me. 👍🤝🖖
Describing flavors and aromas is a highly personal thing and if less people read reviews from other pipe smokers I’m sure we would hear or read a much greater diversity of descriptions. I can understand your salami description and I think it’s a fair description in some ways.
HOPE YOU ARE STILL FEELING SPRY AND PERT - COVID IS SOME NASTY STUFF!!! Mr. VICENT VAN GOGH, AS HE LAY DYING, HAD HIS BROTHER THEO PACK AND LIGHT HIS PIPE FOR HIM - MORAL OF THE STORY IS THIS; *"MAKE AT LEAST ONE REAL GOOD FRIEND, ONE WHO WILL STICK BY YOU AND PACK AND LIGHT YOUR PIPE FOR YOU WHEN YOU CAN'T!!!!!!!"* PS - GOOD VIDEO - THANKS FOR POSTING!!!!!!!
The music that you chose is fabulous.

So interesting video. Thanks 😊👍
What make pipe are you smoking I love it. Looks like a Bing Crosby stem and small billiard bowl. Very elegant looking pipe.
I've never heard of these tobaccos. I'm really interested in trying them. Thanks for posting.

That’s a Dr. Grabow Grand Duke. It is a fine little pipe that is well worth its reasonable price of around $38…

Thankful you are better. That tobacco source intrigues me, and I must try some at some point.
