This is a wonderful tutorial. I just taught my students how to make zines. I work with students who struggle with writing and motor skills. It is the type of project I can adapt to their skill level and they loved filling their own zine with writing and stickers.

I made a zine today after watching your tutorial. I made it into a birthday card for a friend. It’s small but there is more than enough room to decorate including tucks for journal cards ! Love it 🇺🇸❤️🌵

The pages you've done so far are fun and enjoyable - the creative side is simple and joyful, and the journaling will be so fun to look back on and see how your individual world was revolving at that time. Thank you for sharing.
I love this little journal... the size is perfect and it's an easy and simplistic - especially if your creative mind is in 'stuck' mode - and just get started. It's also a good way to use up some of those scraps that almost every crafter has laying around, and a place to just jot a positive note to yourself and keep your spirits up during one of those 'down' moments. I think the idea of doing one a month is fantastic. Thank you so much for sharing.
I love your work and this tutorial. I always like it when you turn your book/or page sideways to write! It adds such interest and I’m starting to do this as well. It is hard to write about myself but I know it would be nice to have a small record of myself. TFS.

This is my favorite demonstration of the one page zine. Quite a few applications and practice for embracing the limitations, which to me is a plus.

Having lots of trouble getting focused, I have so many projects started but not completed, but this one is very appealing. I am busy now making these cute blank journals and because it is such a small journal I think I will enjoy doing it. Will backtrack to January then hopefully do one for each month. Thank you for this project and all your suggestions you have a very lovely persona and calming voice not to mention those cute dimples. Glad I found your channel.
Helen, I've been following you for some time, but usually watch you on my TV, so I just give thumbs up, cause you can't type on the tv...lol. I was so excited to see what you're doing here that I made myself look it up on my computer so I could type you a note...I've been making zines for several years now...I have several UA-cam videos on them if you'd be interested to see my style. Some days are harder than others. I have been neglecting checking in with myself. So I want to write a few notes about "how am I doing? in every way. Physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, socially, creatively, and intellectually. I was going to do this in my bullet journal but I think that little journal-zine would be perfect for it. came back to watch this tutorial. Have made my first 1 as practice, hopefully the niece & nephew are coming for a visit for the first time in 3 years, so working out fun crafty projects to do with them. This will be perfect - & we'll turn them into Farm Field Notes zines that they can take home at the end of the trip. gather up some found leaves etc, & write out about what they saw & did each day. TY.
