2 parts developer to 1 part bleach. Make sure the way you measure it is the same. So if you're doing a small cup bleach, 2 small cups of developer. :)
this was so helpful ly
This was exactly what I was looking for! I looked on numerous websites trying to figure if it's supposed to be the same quantity in grams/ml
Thanks!
So basically just doubling the developer?
Thank you ✨
Is that measurement is enought for one girl's hair?
Me mixing everything at once and then seeing this video: well too late 😅
Years ago i had sister of friend bleach my hair for me as it was my first time bleaching my hair, it was full of chunks
HAHAHAH when they mixed the clumpy one im like" yEP THAT LOOKS LIKE MINE LOL" :D
Same haha, ended up mixing it for like 5 minutes
Same 😅 now I'm like soooo... how do I fix it 😂
Finally... fast and simple! Thanks
Low key I use a Whisk to mix my bleach it dissolves every lump and mixs it so well I get that cool wip consistency 😎👌
i thought you cant use metal?
@@reneeo There are silicone whisks, perhaps she uses one of those.
@@SteelCityHF Oh thats a good idea!
Thank you for showing how to mix it properly. I just wished you explained and showed the measurements better. For instance I buy the the packet of kalelicolors and a small bottle of developer. Im on a tight budget. Ive mixed it all at one and so glad I watched this. Ill mix it better now.
Thank you so much! Was going nuts with instructions written on the product, wasn't sure what is 1and what is 2 in 1:2 proportion, and if it is by weight or volume, finally found this video, love you!
Well now i know! Thank you. Trying to do my roots after mixing it up and I did it in a bowl last time and it dried out too fast. So I tried a mixing bottle this time and still it dried out before I was done. And i wasn't slow about it. So next time I'll try this way.
This video helped out. I'm a little less out of the dark
Ty!! First time trying lightening powder simplified!!
THIS WAS SO HELPFUL OMGGGGGG
that is so correct. Thank you
Super helpful. Thanks!
This video was very helpful thank you so much 🥰 now time to bleach my hair
This video and tip is so helpful
I have never in my 20+ years hairstyling measured developer or powdered lightener. Eyeball that shit until you get the consistency that you want.
It makes perfect sense to me but not everyone has a good eye. It's probably safer is most people actually measure.
We’re all not blessed enough to be hairdressers & have mad skills like YOU 😮😮😮!!
It's not about being a hairdresser. Bleach powder and developer do not need to be measured. Regardless of skill level. Take some bleach powder, put it in your bowl. Pour in some developer. Mix it up. Is it thick and clumpy? Add some more developer. Is it thin and watery? Add a little bleach powder. Repeat until you have a consistency that makes it easiest for you to apply evenly and fully. If it's too watery then it's going to drip off your brush and all over the floor your clothing etc. If it's too thick and clumpy it's going to dry out really quick, and take so much more product that is necessary. If you apply using a bottle you will want it a bit thinner. If you apply using a bowl and brush you want it a bit thicker. All I was saying is that exact measurements are not necessary.
So satisfying
yaas thank you ♥️✨
Dam the uploader ain’t answer no ones questions how rude
What is the portion of bleaching powder and developer (12%) for dark coloured hair
Perfect explanation tyvm
Thank you so much!
Oh damn that was a good tip
Wow so helpful!!
So do you just add bleach powder and peroxide cream
Thanks
So fuckin satisfying
Thank you this was quick and easy, all of the other videos are mini vlogs and not very useful
Good to know.thanks
beautiful
Thank you.
So for 1 ounce of bleach I’ll be adding 2 ounces of developer?
2 part of Peroxide developer is how many ml/g ? Bleaching Lightening powder 15g or ??Hair Bleaching Dye and Hair Bleaching powder
How about 2 cups of developer? Is it 3 or 4?
I have a ultra bond powder lightener 1oz, can you please tell me how much 30 volume developer should I add for the whole 1oz pack???:0
Thank youuuuu
What is the ratio?
I just messed up lol but no worries I'll just put it into another bowl and add more developer
Can I just put everything in a Magic Bullet and blend?
Can you please say how many ml is one scoop
Can use this for body bleach?
It will highlight hairs???
Are measurement units the same? Do you mix both by volume? or by weight? Because, in order to truly maintain a ratio, your units must be the same.
i think as long as it is 1:2 ratio its fine whatever amount (volume/weight) you take :)
mine was very watery what does that mean?, I did all the possible ratios its always like that
too much developer, try adding less next time and just eyeing it until its creamy.
Timing
How much powder n liquid
Ive tried this twice & it still comes out semi dry/clumpy. I don't even throw everything in at once! Smh 🙄🤦🏽♀️
How much oz of lighter and how much oz of developer??
Also do you use developer with toner as well??
The video showed three measuring cups that were the same size. One with lightening powder and two with developer and all three were used in the demonstration.
@@melisahinton3972 🤦♀️You completely missed the point to their question. Theyre asking what the measurements of the liquid and powder were used exp; half a cup or 6 liquid ounces etc etc
No, I understood the question. The measurements were there for us to see.@@alexl.9602
@@melisahinton3972 Not clearly.
@@alexl.9602 O my. You're the one that missed the point. Go back review the video, read the person's question and then my answer. I won't reply to anymore of your crazy remarks so just leave it here. Of course I expect you will just have to get the last word in so you probably won't.
Nice info. Thanks..Lol
The first time i bleach my hair i had a friend's sister to do it for me and it was not mix well. in planning to black my hair by myself only 1 time and i did not do well because it was only for roots yet my roots absorb a-lot so i if not had enough bleach an d was using cream ones.
So basically its only the bleaching powder and the developer?
Yes
At what point do you add the lightner?
The video showed the lightening powder was poured into the mixing bowl first then the developer was gradually added until all was mixed together.
So we add 20/30/40 developer twice the quantity of powder. Right?
@Jill how many ounces would that be
It is permanent????
Does this method work with clear developer as well?
You want to use cream developer when lightening powder is being used so the mixture isn’t runny and stays in place. It will swell some and you need it to do so.
so 1:2 ? if i use 30vol?
That's how I always do it! 1 part lightener to 2 parts developer. Definitely wouldn't go over 30 Vol either as I've never found it really necessary to justify the extra strength on your hair for similar results with 40 Vol. For reference I have thick medium dark brown hair naturally and have it a baby pink now, so I can go from my natural to platinum with 30 Vol. Good luck friend!
Elongated Muskrat how much bleach did you use for your hair? My hair’s length is until my chest, do you think 100grams of bleach is enough?
Cheri Jeon yeah, the developer is already alot so it is enough.
is it alright if i use 20vol? im scared to damage my hair too much ;^;
I have the powder but not the developer and I really want to die my hair tonight can I just use shampoo instead?
No, it doesn't work like that.
does this also damage ur curly hair?
you’re bleaching it so yes a little bit
HOW MUCH!!!!!!!!????????
what are the measurements I'm so confused....
2 cups of developer 1 cup of bleach
you didn't tell us the amount?
One part bleach two part creme
Kase W. One oz or one cup
HOW MUCH DEVELOPERAND BLEACH DO I uSE like can someone give me measurements
1:2 is the ratio. 50g of bleaching powder and 100ml developer.
@@yamazakiella1243 can u convert :)))
@@roxannebennett5809 i use measuring cups for this haha. Use 1/3 cup for bleaching powder and 1/2 cup and 1tb for developer. You can add another tablespoon if it didnt reach that consistency shown in the video. Hope it helps!!
Ella Yamazaki you’re a lifesaver!!! thank u :)
Isn't the ratio supposed to be 1:1?
The ratio is 1:2 (1 part powder lightener: 2 Creme Developer)
@@sayurisketches7509 Thanks! (:
@@sayurisketches7509 Not always.
What I have learned from my google search is that if you are not applying the mixture to your scalp, it is 1:1. If you are applying it to your scalp though, it should be 1 oz powder to 2 oz developer.
@@melisahinton3972 AGAIN, you were unhelpful. Leave the internet TROLL.
If I dont have developer?
Bîrsan Elvira Ghiulbia you have to have developer or else it won’t work
@@shyla6279 already did it without and it worked 🤷🤷🤷
What'd you use?
How? Can you please tell me.I don’t have developer and I really want to bleach my hair
@@Phunie shampoo but will take a lill bit longer. You have to put aluminum foil.
So Basically like soup.
Bruh wheres the measurement?
Done bleaching. Use 1:2 as ratio. I use 50g bleaching powder and 100ml developer. Hope it will help.
@@yamazakiella1243 what volume? 30 or 40 volume?
Do 30 vol 40 will fry your hair
Well shit
i only have the powder :( should i use water? Lol this comment is not going to get noticeable, by the time it does it’ll be late
i really hope it’s not too late but please don’t! you’ll probably ruin your hair. you need the developer for the product to work properly.
@@ocarinaofcats1227 bruh
LATE ASF i did it cause why not
So what happened when you added water?
@@brookeyazzie it just got watery blue lol but it didn’t change the hair color it only lighten it up
