My Xr is still relatively new so I’ll pass on this upgrade. Love that Apple bought back the 4-5/se chassis. That was the best design imo. I get why they didn’t include headphones but no charging brick is silly especially since it’s their first year using usb-c with phones.
I agree with the design. I missed it and I’m glad they brought it back. Definitely my favorite. I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max and I’m trying to hold off from upgrading, but that design might just get me to buy one. I’ll hold off to see how people like it first though.
Same. Also this isn't their first year switching to a usb c to lightning cable. They did it last year with the iPhone 11 pro models. But I don't feel these phones are worth it. No 120 hz is just a deal breaker by this point.

My 11 pro max has a scratch on the stainless steel out of nowhere and micro scratches on the screen after a week of normal use. I immediately regretted getting the 11 pro max when I found people have Been having issues with scratches a lot easier than before

Best review hands down, I liked how you went into the settings and really showed us a walkthrough of the iPhone. UA-camrs are not really doing that! I got the blue iPhone 12 and was worried about the color but your review really puts me at ease about the color.
I still remember 3 or 4 years ago Aaron and zollotech are just in the beginning stage where I was the first 10 or 20 people to like his videos. Those time I was using iPhone 6S and I have watched all the Zollotech videos to know about iOS updates. Then I changed to android and stopped watching videos. But after 4 years when I visit this page , wow Aaron got almost 1 million subscribers and he got many views. It's very good to see a UA-cam channel growing infront of my eyes. Keep it up Aaron .

You know what, that 120mbps is not 5G speed lol. Even my 4G can get 200mbps. The only reason of you guys not even get that 4G speed is your subscribed telco cap your internet speed. The real speed of 5G is 1gb/s. Its funny when people overhype when get 100+ mbps speed when it actually within 4G speed. And that speed to get will not stand long time / forever. Once a lot of people have "5G", it will congested and get way lower speed. For now, you can call it "fast". 5G also required antenna tower tons of KW power, which is way less profitable for the telco companies. At the end, your "5G" speed will forever within 4G speed without you even realised... lol

I was thinking the same thing. XS Max Pro 256gb and this phone is still savage. The only thing I wish it could take advantage of is the 5G network with Verizon. I upgraded my Verizon account to the 5G only to benefit with my iTunes, Hulu, Disney Plus and ESPN package.
Just got my iPhone 12 in blue today (upgrading from an iPhone X). Looks about the same size but feels bigger because of the sharp corners. Blue color looks AWESOME. I've only ever bought black/space-gray phones before but this blue is seriously beautiful. Need to find a clear case to showcase it.
Great video as usual! Lots of little details that others will leave out or gloss over. As for video/audio quality, the Sony and the external microphone were better, but I think it would be less noticeable with the iPhone and the external microphone paired. (It was a pretty good picture both ways)
Expecting one tomorrow! Was a total surprise as well. I’ve carried the 11 for 4 years now and it’s still great, but I’m looking forward to this now ong!

It all depends on who your carrier is, for instance if you have AT&T,T-Mobile,Verizon,cricket you can insert your sim into the phone if it’s factory unlocked or provided from your carrier but for carriers such as Metro By T-Mobile or Boost Mobile they lock their sim cards to the IMEI number of the phone so you have to call customer support or go into the store
I’ve been waiting for this video and I am happy to see the blue does not appear as hideous as it does in other recent photos. I should be getting mine on Friday and upgrading from the X. I wish I was able to keep my X because it’s still an amazing phone except for the battery life suffering after more than two years.

I got my mom the white one for the iPhone 12 I was shocked on the size of the phone when ups sent it to me through mail but when I opened the box the phone was tiny like the iPhone 5 back in 2009 but she liked it anyway Hopefully they will fix bigger models of these phones in the future but for now I got what I could afford I am happy that I have a brand new replacement iPhone 12 Pro Max today absolutely loving it so far😊

Just upgraded from the iPhone 8plus I’ve had for 3 years and traded it in and didn’t have to pay anything. Now I have the iPhone 12 and so far it’s been great.

Time to upgrade from my blue 2020 blue iPhone 12, I will always remember watching this introduction (and the M1 one) in the middle of the pandemic. It is/was probably the best phone I ever owned.
At night when night shift is on I can sometimes see the screen flickering for a few seconds- it’s kinda annoying and trippy but it’s not long and doesn’t give me a headache
It’s called PWM, the iPhone screens with AMOLED screens flicker at 290hz at Max brightness, the lower the brightness the slower it flickers. Best advice is to leave it at Max brightness and use reduce white point to lower brightness while keeping PWM high.
Great video as always and was impressed with the 4K at the end of the video. The audio did sound a little distant. I’m wondering if another update might address that.
Wow I'm so happy I don't have the OLED issue. I have an acoustic issue where I can hear lower frequencies others can't here and a visibility issue where I can see certain frequencies in infrared spectrum (including the constant red beeping on iPhone FaceID). The struggle is real. Stay strong man! The tech has caught up with PWM issue at least.
It's not out in most countries. In my country they wont even start building the mm wave for two more years and I'm guessing minimum 1-2 years on top of that before it will be available at more than a handful of places. So even though it blows not to get it on the phone, it really would be useless for almost everyone outside USA for many years. It also blows that the non-US customers are financing the US phones more expensive 5G chip. (Around $50 difference).
Is it better to get the iPhone 12 Pro Max delivered or pick up in store? I want to try the delivery option, but I'm worried the phone won't ship on launch day!
I just recently got the iPhone 12 from T-Mobile in blue even tho it’s only 64gb but all I do is social media text and calls and that’s about it so 64gb is good for me for now until I qualify for an upgrade

Time to upgrade from my blue 2020 blue iPhone 12, I will always remember watching this introduction (and the M1 one) in the middle of the pandemic. It is/was probably the best phone I ever owned.

At night when night shift is on I can sometimes see the screen flickering for a few seconds- it’s kinda annoying and trippy but it’s not long and doesn’t give me a headache

It’s called PWM, the iPhone screens with AMOLED screens flicker at 290hz at Max brightness, the lower the brightness the slower it flickers. Best advice is to leave it at Max brightness and use reduce white point to lower brightness while keeping PWM high.
@@HegoDamaskII we need to wait for the measurements with the device. perhaps pwm is already better in the iPhone 12?

Wow I'm so happy I don't have the OLED issue. I have an acoustic issue where I can hear lower frequencies others can't here and a visibility issue where I can see certain frequencies in infrared spectrum (including the constant red beeping on iPhone FaceID). The struggle is real. Stay strong man! The tech has caught up with PWM issue at least.

I see the 5G mmWave band that is exclusive to the US 🇺🇸, not available in my country, Singapore 🇸🇬. ☹️
It's not out in most countries. In my country they wont even start building the mm wave for two more years and I'm guessing minimum 1-2 years on top of that before it will be available at more than a handful of places. So even though it blows not to get it on the phone, it really would be useless for almost everyone outside USA for many years. It also blows that the non-US customers are financing the US phones more expensive 5G chip. (Around $50 difference).

I just recently got the iPhone 12 from T-Mobile in blue even tho it’s only 64gb but all I do is social media text and calls and that’s about it so 64gb is good for me for now until I qualify for an upgrade

•Are you an aspiring photographer or taking casual pictures?
•What is wrong with your current phone?
•Does this phone improve what’s wrong with your current phone?
•Is you dead?
•Will you dead if you don’t upgrade?
•Wait.
•This ain’t it yet champ.
•If you upgrade, you will get the initial feeling of having something new, then quickly realize you’re doing the same thing you did with your previous phone just with less money than you had prior.
You do realize people are upgrading from the 6/6s/7/2015/2016 Android phones... right? Not everyone is coming from an 11 Pro Max.
