  • I've been there before, from Ocean Forest to mixing my soil. From my experience, I don't see any difference between using Ocean Forest Foxfarm or any other products VS Mixing my soil. It all works the same, the only difference is your $Money that you're spending :). Dragon fruit plants don't require expensive and rich soil. The most important thing you need to keep in mind is "drainage" and make sure you have proper drainage by using Perlite, Pumice or Sand. It will help your dragon fruit plants thrive faster than stressing out on getting the right soil for your plant. Again, I am here to help you from my own experience, and everyone has their own way of growing. Happy growing!

I totally agree with you about drainage. I live in Oregon, my cactus, all types, do much better in fast draining soil.

Great drainage is important AND potting soil with low organics is important for long term.

I would recommend using the Palm, Cactus, Citrus potting soil mix from same manufacturer for long term.

Why would you recommend me something that it’s been working for me all these years. If it’s working for you, then stick to what you’re using!

@@ricshaw805 I tried to stay away with palm and cactus. perlite works for me and I don’t have to water as much

@@ricshaw805with the foxfarm VS mixing my own, I don’t see value one versus the other. It’s just a marketing scheme in my opinion. I’m sticking to the Kellogg’s bag because my plants do just fine and I don’t see any problem with it. Weather its 1 year VS 5 years. I already see the results.
