I'm in Australia and did my first grafts a while back as tests. Now doing grafts for real as a cutting takes 4yrs to flower in my region. I'm hoping the grafts will flower the following year after doing the graft. I'm in a small unusual arid zone (a big rain shadow zone) in South Eastern Queensland with very cool winters where the days might be overcast for months on end so the season takes a long time to warm up in mid-summer. So I will be doing some night lights and with the grafts, I hope I get earlier fruit. As it stands my fruit are not ripe until late March into mid April. Remember that in the Southern Hemisphere the seasons are around the other way.

I had a feeling your Second Graft would not take. The Rootstock it is very woody, I have better succes with less mature cuttings for that kind of Graft. You should try Cleft graft they take better, more connections

Always treat with fungiside.... before graft at least 2 days ago.
