As much as I admire this guy's tenacity in trying to help the poor dog, surely he could see it would be impossible to bring the dog up easily with precarious rocks slipping all over the place. I would have called for more assistance, perhaps the fire brigade could have helped with a stretcher and extra manpower because he was a heavy dog. I would never attempt that type of rescue alone. I shudder when I watch the dog being walked in that area so close to a steep drop again. One wrong move and he might slip. I wonder why the guy took him back there? It is nice seeing the man with his travelling companion. He and the dog make a good pair. I wish them well.
