    you should get a bigger battery to get the maximum performance out of the tool. The tool only uses between 1/3 and 1/2 of it's power when it detects a small battery. Get the bigger battery and it will loosen those bolts/nuts like nothing.

    I saw another review of this this exact Einhell 18/215 impact and it has tightened until 300 Nm.I own one them as well.
    Firstly you get best best performance with a battery over 2.5 ah and secondly you haven’t the right socket for that.

    Use impact sockets and see the difference. They are much harder which transfer vibration better to shock the nut. Preferably CR/M rather than CR/V but impact specific sockets are the solution.

    Einhell TE-CW 18 Li BL Solo Cordless Impact Driver is VERY GOOD TOOL!!! I have owned it for 1 year now and there has not been a nut that I have not unscrewed with it all over the car, not just the wheel nuts! Fully justifies 215 nm. unscrew the nut. Your mistake is that you are using an extension, not a deep socket!!!

    • @UltimateDIY
      @UltimateDIY  3 роки тому +1

      If that is the mistake, it will be remedied in the Autumn when I will change the tyres again, as I have explained in the video. I clearly said there will be a follow up video with the nuts torqued to the proper torque for my car and with dedicated impact sockets. Also, a 4Ah battery will be used and might help.
      My question is, why doesn't Einhell include a proper socket to show the real value of the tool? If all of this are required for the tool to reach it's full potential, it should be clearly stated.
      Otherwise, people like me, that use a impact driver for the first time will get it wrong and blaim the tool. I repetedly said that I will give the tool a second chance, but as the tool comes and with the bits that the average user has around the house, the tool will not work.

    • @doomkillerr
      @doomkillerr 3 роки тому

      @@UltimateDIY No manufacturer includes a socket to theirs impact driver. There are special ones Impact Socket Set for this job. Give the device a second chance. I do not believe that there is such a dramatic difference from one to another from the same model. I unscrew my wheel nuts every time with this device. Also the repairs I did on the suspension, rear bearings on my Toyota Rav4 I used the device and it never failed me.

    • @UltimateDIY
      @UltimateDIY  3 роки тому

      This is why I did not send it back, to give it another chance in the autumn, when I have all that is needed for the job.
      As for the socket, I have shown at the end of the video that the impact driver from Lidl had everything included at a lower price. This is how it should be. Or at least mark clearly on the box that a special socket is needed. I had no way to buy the socket in the particular day I needed to use it. I would have bought it in advance, if I would have known.

    • @SuperSany18
      @SuperSany18 2 роки тому +1

      I bought same one and saw on box some guy unscrewing car wheel bolts but I didn't found guy in box ?.. Does that mean I'm scammed by Einhell !?? 🤔
      Ps. For price Einhell is unbeatable, check some testing of that Parkside impact driver which you mentioned at the end of video and than after seeing what crap is that parkside you will appreciate what you already have.

    • @UltimateDIY
      @UltimateDIY  2 роки тому +1

      If the guy could fit in the box, then yes.
      Joke asside, about the socket it's something on the line of "batteries not included" text that you see on many boxes. It just warns you to "bring your own". What about newest phones that don't have a charger in the box anymore, shouldn't that be specified also?
      About Einhell overall, I agree, but for this particular tool, I don't agree with their choice to not include the socket.

    Buy yourself a better akku und it will be complet different. Minimum 4.0 or 5.2 ah

    • @UltimateDIY
      @UltimateDIY  3 роки тому

      As i already told others, Einhell does not state in the brochure or any onther documentation that this needs a battery with a bigger capacity to perform at rated torque. If this is true, it's a big omission from their side.
      Also, many people don't understand that a bigger Ah capacity does not necessarily mean bigger instant current. You can have a 5Ah battery with the same instant current as a 2.5Ah. It depends on the cells used and the electronics. Also, the impact driver might not be able to use more instant current. The difference you see might be just because a bigger battery adds more weight behind the too.
      That being said, I already have a bigger battery and in the autumn I will make another video to compare the two.

      @@UltimateDIY Have ever looked and readed the operation manual book? I can tell you my friend there is in 100 % written the minimum how much ah akku you supposed to use for maximal results. I can bet for that with you. Look it and please write me a answer.

      Are you joking? Of course I read it and it is not mentioned a 4Ah is the minimum for rated torque.
      Even your own link states:
      "Recommendation for optimum results: 2.5 Ah battery & higher”
      If you are trying to prove I'm right, you are doing a great job :))
      But, again, I can understand that maybe this is an error from Einhell side and a bigger battery could improve the use of the tool, either from higher instant current or just simple added weight. This is why I insist a second video will be made.

      I have an Einhell leaflet showing the minimum battery for each tool. For this one the minimum is 2.5Ah, so that the tool performs as it's rated spec. A bigger battery would help by adding mass to the tool, but not by giving more power, as long as the tool can't use more. The leaflet will be seen in one of my future Einhell related videos.

    • @UltimateDIY
      @UltimateDIY  3 роки тому +1

      Salur. In cazul asta ar trebui sa specifice ca e nevoie de acumulator mai puternic pentru a-si atinge cuplul maxim. Dar, repet, in brosura Einhell (nu manualul de utilizare, ci brosura de prezentare a produselor si imperechere cu acumulatori necesari) nu arata ca este necesar acumulator mai puternic.
      In toamna o sa verific din nou, dupa cum am spus in video. Daca merge mai bine cu acumulatorul mare, inseamna ca e o mare prostie din partea lor ca nu specifica asta. La alte unelte arata in brosura, de exemplu, minim 4Ah. Acolo e clar cum sta treaba.

      Stie el ceva, dar nu prea bine. Amper (A) nu este egal cu Amper ora (Ah). In functie de tipul de celule si configuratia interna a acumulatorului, un acumulator cu mai multi Amperi ora (Ah) nu da neaparat un curent instantaneu (A) mai mare. Pe noi ne intereseaza curentul instantaneu, nu capacitatea totala inmagazinata in baterie. E ca si cand ai spune ca o masina cu rezervor mai mare e automat mai puternica. Einhell nu ne da niciunde curentul inatantaneu maxim luat de unealta si nici cel oferit de baterie. Ei ne dau doar energia inmagazinata.
      Poti citi aici diferenta dintre A si Ah:
      sciencing.com/watt-hour-vs-amp-hour-12135955.html
      Dar sa nu intelegi gresit, nu zic ca unealta nu e posibil sa mearga mai bine cu un acumulator cu o capacitate mai mare, ci zic ca o sa testez in toamna si ca ei in materialele lor publicitare nu au cerut o astfel de baterie. Ori nu e necesara, ori au gresit.
