@@mindaugas1906 everything you said i can confirm. Shops overtightening and ~300nm max. on this mashine.
Awesome review
Glad you enjoyed it
Got mine a month ago and tested it yesterday on some brakes job and i was disappointed with it because looks like the mechanism starts to slip somehow when it's not perfectly aligned, i dont know how it works but the bolt goes easily for a second and then the next second impacting sound changes and the bolt just stays in place and then if you wiggle the tool a little bit the impacting sound goes back to normal and the bolt goes normally again for 1-2 seconds until it stops again. That was super annoying and i had to undo the bolt with hands. Probably defective device or something
3:40 now that sounds like lawnmower engine
Great video, the torque settings are not true. As a example you would never torque your car wheel nuts more than 120 NM in a majority of vehicles otherwise you can snap the wheel bolt. It makes sense to buy a proper brand like Milwaukee.

Brilliant video well tested
Gutes Video gemacht.
Goede test!
Very nice vid. !
The 20v range is the bomb, I've collected quite a few of them 14 battery's the first set of 2018 batteries work just a good as new and I use them all the time. Parkside make dam good tools the 4 in one looks flimsy but its pretty handy I use the saw all the time
Damn good tools.... yeah right...
There's nothing really wrong with the tools and they are priced well, however they are same Chinese made generic tools that are also sold under many different brands such as Stanley, silverline to name afew
I thought you were going to try the crankshaft pulley bolt at the end! Oh well!
I think I`ll stick to my Makita 1000nm impact wrench, costs a lot more, but MUCH stronger, will last MUCH longer, & the batteries & chargers will be available, anywhere, for decades..
I'll try that machine next. Wats the specific model?
@@MakeAndTest Mine is a Makita DTW1002Z. Its amazing. Not cheap, but amazing!
@@MrPabsUk I'm glad you like it. If I have time and money I'll test it.
You can’t even compare the two and it’s silly to do so.
Dream on! Using an impact tool for decades... And who wants new batteries on a yr. 2000 battery-powered tool at this age?
Will this be enough for a stubborn sump plug? Or to remove drop link locking nuts?
Piece of cake
Drop links yes. For a sump plug i'd stick to a normal breaker bar as you will have a really bad time if you damage the thread.
If you put a De Walt on those wheel studs, it will play with them.
Hahah I bought this in Lidl too, nothing wrong with it. Will see how long it will last for occasional repairs.
It works just fine for me. All around good tool for a home workshop.

very VERY nice tool....but dont expect miracles :) have it few years now.....

you got a point there man

of course, you shouldn't really be using an impact wrench to tighten wheel nuts.
Use with Cr-Mo Socket, it is stronger 👌🏻
Will do, next time I use it.
Video muy bien echo 👌👌
Funny. Mine couldn't get the Bolts loose from my car. Why does it work in these videos? You know the answer, don't you?
I heard you have to press the button and hold it for at least 10 to 15 seconds. Only then it goes to full power. Also you must have cr-Mo sockets for better results.
@@MakeAndTest I stopped when it started to smoke
Well...thats not good. Refund it. I think it has a 3 year warranty

@@oliversatory1494 You like Milwaukee? How does it compare? How much torque does it make?
You didn't open the box with a reciprocating saw like AvE does ?
Can you give me more context, cuz I don't know what you're trying to ask me?
Insane Builds I Appreciate the response. I was joking, there is a channel called AvE where the creator opens his brand new tools and other items he tests in potentially damaging ways often using saws.

Those torque selections are for loosening, for safety reasons and to prevent over tightening will only torque to 100nm
Curtis Jeffery how do you know that ?
@@aleddavies770 the last parkside impact I had (12v one) had that feature in built, but I know from workings of impacts is that the selection button is for loosening torque (pretty sure it mentions in user manual too)
Curtis Jeffery I have this one. I bought it new yesterday. It says in the manual to just use the smallest setting to tighten nuts to avoid over tightening. So you can't tighten any more than 100 N/M ?
I am in south Africa. How can I get one?

I don't know how long this toy screwdriver can last as it only costs 79 €! If you want a tool that lasts over time you have to spend at least € 400/500, see DeWalt or Milwaukee and some other brands.
I have it since it came out and it was used well not only on cars also on Traktors . So cheap is not always bad or is it ? But I have to say that the sockets are crap they rounded out fast
Completely depends on how you are using it. If you are a mechanic or a steel erector then fair enough, spend more. But if you are a DIYer and do wheel rotations and put the odd coach bolt in then it’s enough and perfectly fine.
Most Toyota and subaru had 103Nm torque for wheel
Is brother avilabel in India or not
FYI, you will wear out this thing within 6 months if you use it for drilling screws. Impact wrenches aren't meant for that.

Its disappointing to see the tool struggling when I want to buy it, honestly I start thinking twice
Where it is struggling
My worx impact driver seemed like it would be just as good if no better and it only has 170nm torqu
I dont think its struggling. Its building torque. Even my dewalt at 1600nm does that but always gets the bolt off. And 400nm will ne enough to gey most bolts off any car
i have 400nm pneumatic impact wrench and often happens wheel bolts wont come off. They are properly tightened (120Nm) but little rust and its stuck. 400Nm is just not for automotive although id like as a hobyist. Although i had it very very usefull in some situations where are small parts or damaged heads so it does not go by hand its unimpressive for my expectations
