Funny story about this ride. I got on this during my 5th grade elementary school trip. I wasn't exactly into horror the way I am now, and I tried terribly to avoid this ride. Unfortunately, the school coordinated our list of rides into decision, with 2 teachers to go with each group. It was either this or the big water log ride with no handles. I had no choice but to pick this one. I was fucking terrified. I nearly cried. Looking back at it, I would've had my phone out during this now. It's an absolute experience.
Clearly this ride was a true to life classic with everything but the kitchen sink darting out at you. Every sound effect was spot on and the horrifying ghouls that seem to apoear out of nowhere! At least we have our memories.

What’s funny is I hear a lot of quotes of sounds we are familiar with, such as Vincent Price’s laughter from Thriller as well as Twilight Zone music…

I see where you are aware of the move.....didnt realize it was a portable.
It's gone now. :(
It's sad that it's gone from Playland...but...good news is it's not gone forever..it's been moved up to a park in Niagara Falls. =)
