Your welcome and I believe there are better options now for sight removal tools that won’t break the bank! I hope you stay in contact and thank you for watching!
I should have watched this before my debacle last night. Absolutely destroyed my tritium front sight and scratched my slide. Thank you for the insightful look on how to do this. I did not know that you were supposed to take out that round leveler in order to do your fronts.
No problem and yes you do if you get the same one as I have. Otherwise look for different one that will allow you to! If you ever have any questions don’t hesitate to ask? I hope you stay in contact and thank you for watching!
If your Referring to my Smith and Wesson? That optic plate came with the gun and it’s plastic so I don’t recommend you use it. That optic used the RMR footprint, so what ever optic you buy make sure you double check the footprint size! I recommend you go buy an aftermarket metal one for your optic. There are videos of the plastic plates breaking when shooting, I took mine off and just use the iron sights now with that gun. If you have any more questions don’t hesitate to ask? I hope you stay in contact and Subscribe. Until next time and Thank you for Watching!
Just use spin plate to push rear site out of a Glock. If you change front site on a Glock it’s a tiny bolt. If you have any other questions don’t hesitate to ask? I hope you stay in contact and thank you for watching!
In your estimation, will this tool accommodate removing and / or installing rear suppressor height sights for Glock pistols. Reference height clearance.
Use Kroil Penatrating oil to loosen up sights before pushing out. Absolutely the best penatrating oil available. A little goes a long way and it works! 25+ years ago I bought a gallon of the stuff to use in my machine shop. It has worked to loosen lots of stubborn parts and I have only used about a pint out of the gallon in all that time. Amazon has 10 ounces for about $ 20.
This tool is not designed to be used with front sights and we do not recommend this tool for use with front sights. This one is the rear sight only tool. We do make a VTUFNR front and rear sight tool which is designed to do front and rear sights.
I would be interested in doing a review on this product! I would review plus compare it with my current sight pusher. Is that something that would interest your company? I appreciate you guys watching and commenting. Until next time and thank you for watching!
( Canik ) is notorious to be tight. Best thing to do is take you some 2000 or 1000 sandpiper and sand on the bottom little bit of a time little time until you get it where to slide in next time don’t go too far cause you go too far you rent your sidejust a little tail from a guy bought a mechanic a long time ago and found out the hard way that you can’t beat them on well I did but found out later on there’s a better way in it sanding
Interesting I’ve never had an issue with installing when you add a lubricant! Definitely soak in lubricant with the stock sight before trying to push it out! Thank you for sharing and I hope you stay in contact!

The actual pusher part (that pushers the rear sight) and has VISM printed on it, is it made of metal or some sort of heavy duty nylon? thanks!
So when do you need to use the spacer vs the spinning wheel used for the Glock?
Just use spin plate to push rear site out of a Glock. If you change front site on a Glock it’s a tiny bolt. If you have any other questions don’t hesitate to ask? I hope you stay in contact and thank you for watching!
@@pewpewswithmr.x ok thanks I was just wondering what the use of that spacer was because there’s not really other videos that show it being used
@AlexLopez-vt4fl it’s for removing a front sight for other guns that are different then glocks. Like my caniks for example that I used in the video.

When I get home later I can measure how much distance from top of tool area to top of slide and see for you
