- We took a trip to Nashville Tennessee and had the pleasure of meeting Tony Ray and Patty of Our Backwoods Homestead. They are some of the nicest people I have ever met and honestly I think we have made life long friends. You know homesteaders need to stick together.

I love the idea for the chickens litter box. I would use wood pellets. cat litter can be so expensive. But only having a few chickens might not run you that much.
