Whitetailer Szn 1 | Ep 5 "Find the hot sign, find the deer!"

It's October 5th and a cold front pushes through the midwest and I head to the "Frank" farm for the first time this year with high hopes. Sometimes I think I’d take a cold front in October over the rut lol. That may sound crazy but I really believe if you know where bucks are living that’s the time to go after them before they become all rutted up and un-patternable. You may see younger bucks pushing does around right now but the big boys aren’t fooled, however the colder weather does have them itching to start laying down sign and getting ready. As we have talked about on the podcast several times, the sign doesn’t lie. It was my goal to be “in the game” every hunt this season and part of that is setting up on fresh sign, not just hunting to hunt. I'd say I found the sign on this hunt!
