Thanks for your review! The opinions about this first part of the final season seem to be either "awesome" or "meh," for the most part. There are moments/episodes I've thoroughly enjoyed, but there's also a lot that hasn't worked for me. After initially being excited about the Reapers story arc, I wound up disappointed with most of how it went. I'm hoping the second part will be much stronger. I tend to think it might be Elijah who takes out Leah, in the end. When Maggie told him they'd kill all the Reapers, he said, "Except the one. He's mine." It occurred to me at that point that Leah might be the Reaper who killed his sister. If she was wearing her mask at the time, Elijah could be just assuming she is a he. The only way that would work for me, though, is for Daryl to deliberately allow Elijah to execute Leah, the same way Daryl and Maggie allowed Oceanside to execute a reformed Arat back in Season 9 (because Arat had executed Cyndie's 11-year-old brother back when she was a Savior). If Daryl turns his back and lets ZA justice run its course, it would be a nice callback to when he and Maggie did the same. But if Elijah kills her without Daryl being faced with that dilemma and then allowing it, it would be just another cliche of "man avenges murder of a family member" that we've seen how many times before? If my speculation about that is wrong, I'd also be fine with Daryl taking her out. Any scenario other than one of those two will probably disappoint me. LOL!

Oh, that’s a great idea. Never crossed my mind but it makes perfect sense. You’re right though, Daryl has to approve or it’ll be meaningless.
