Fanatec used red loctite on two screws at 09:00. I stripped screws on my club sport pedals v3, I’m guessing red loctite. Never in a million years did I think this was the case. Red loctite means PERMANENT.
Guys can you help me out I haven’t been able to use my cluster buttons a,b,x,y and the trigger buttons and rb Lb Paddles work Xbox button works But I always have to use the top of the hub to make any commands with action buttons in game?
For as long as this product been out how is it that trying to update the firmware for this product have to be so damn difficult. Seriously checked the forums and people have been having this issue for months.
I would like to have some some support since I’ve podium F1 DD bought brand new less than 2 weeks old and I just purchased universal hub v2 and it is not recognized by the wheel base however the f1 wheel is working fine got the Hub replaced for another new one and issue still the same . base firmware is up to date. Any suggestions!!
did you ever figure it out because i’m having the same problem i can’t seem to get past the enable torque i can’t figure out what my ok button is and my shifters are not working
@@KlaytonnnTV After hours of messing with it I ended up re-downloading the software and everything started working The OK button is the middle button of the three on the right bottom corner of the wheel
Wow I chose thrustmaster last year, fanatec is really gone crazy with marketing, sponsorships and new rims , thrustmaster looks pathetic by comparison with that Frankenstein 248 wheel , I would love these universal rims for mod rims.......but sadly I've invested too much in TM now to start over again ....until they do a DD that is ...
It a known issue of the podium... You have to open a support ticket and the will repair the wheelbase. Just done on mine... Plenty of guys on fanatec forum with this issue as well
I have the v1, and I simply do not want to buy the v2 as it seems there is a continuing issue (fanatec forums with this exact issue have minimal response and no answers within from devs) with the rsb and lsb buttons acting as the rb and lb buttons respectively. This has continued on through the years and many driver and firmware updates without fix. What guarantee to a fix is likely if I as a customer am going to continue giving you guys my hard earned money. two shifters broken, csr elite issues, it continues on. Where is the same dedication to Xbox FANatecs as to Sony fans. Where is our dual knob control boards and podium series kits. How can I play forza and lose half my inputs to message and change radio, then also 4 more buttons to doubling up on inputs like right trigger and left trigger as well. THAT IS WHAT MY FANATEC PEDALS ARE FOR! A v2 release that is just an uprated board but still needs a different QR accessory is not a V2, but a 1.5. Poor effort...
Mine broke after not even a year of owner ship of not regular use I used it probably 2 or 3 times a week and I hardly took it off the base and some how the pins are miss aligned and bent

The screws used to attach the QR2 to the hub are impossible to reach with the included screwdriver due to the angle.
Id love to see a video on how to mount the drift wheel. The cap that comes with it is flat, but the area around the mounting screws is curved. ??

how do you remove the funky switch connector ? i tried and it's seem stucked I don't won't to force and damage the connector

Had to get a very small flat head screw driver and just pry it a tad on each side then it lifted off.

the two screw at the front for the case are not the smartest idea :/ my custom made rim does not work with this hub anylonger
