It's so great to watch Tony thinking through all his many, varied projects. I still remember at the beginning when he didn't want you filming him n he would turn away and such.. You have both really done so much to your place since you bought it. Your kitchen n utility project will be wonderful. 😊 Hats off to you both!
Sometimes the smallest spaces are the most problematic. But it’s such an important part of your kitchen renovation (which you so deserve). Tony just doesn’t give up which is a good quality to have.
Poor Tony! He’s in Plumbing Purgatory in a tiny airless closet…Jane is there at his side, offering soothing murmurs of encouragement! I love you guys so much! If anyone can figure this out and make it work- Tony can! It will be great to have a functioning utility room. I love his outrage when recounting his plumbing adventures to the electrician…😂 ❤️
Hi Jane and Tony, I just love watching Tony eyeing up a new project . He really looks at every problem and then thinks about everything methodically and comes up with a plan. Jane you always appear to understand everything he is doing, your his Ying to his Yang. 😃😘🇨🇮
Two wood lentils implemented over the door, beaut Tony. Beautiful new tiled floor completed. It will be wonderful Jane having gas implemented there too, to use in the kitchen. Beaut, the wall's frame work for the plaster construction has been completed. Hoping Jane you have your hot water tank turned on soon.
Small rooms are more difficult than larger rooms. You may need a small dehumidifier to run a few hours every day. I keep one in my basement and only need to run it in warmer months. It will all be worth it in the end.
Apologies Jane and Tony. I had to fast forward through some of that. I get claustrophobic looking into my own 6' x 8' pantry. I keep a small fan running all the time in my laundry room even though I rarely close the door. Looking forward to see the finished result. Tony always outshines himself.
The new utilities room will be Wonderful for you Jane. Freeing up your kitchen, when the utilities are moved to their forever home, next door, giving you much more room in your professional kitchen to work with. Wonderful!!!!!!! Washing machine and clothes dryer in their own room with important air vents implemented, by electrician John great !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tony implementing the new wood lentil over the door making the room safe to use by removing the rotted wood, old one, Very Good. work Tony The water large drums moved further into the corner with a new tap added. This frees up more room in there too. The new air vents implemented will make it safe for the clothes dryer to run.
I am glad you are getting a more efficient and smaller boiler system will make for a lovely laundry area and less damp and clean :) I hope you will cover the floor space with new cement make it cleaner and add some tiling make it easier for cleanup. Maybe something to allow air into that closet from outside. It will need some rendering as well. I hope later on your kitchen will be redecorated as well. I like you are sealing it and insulating make it much nicer well done Tony and Jane :)
Will the wooden lintel be strong enough for the weight of the steps above, I know easier to fix a new ceiling up to the timber but a couple of concrete lintels would have been stronger …….
Om te voorkomen dat je weer condensatie krijgt in de kamer kun je een ventilatie maken in de deur. Met een klein roostertje ervoor valt het niet op en ben je van de natte vloer af.

Lots of hard work getting the utility room up and running. Do they sell pipe insulation there? It will stop the condensation. Cheers from Canada 🇨🇦
Fantastic 👏 I can’t wait till part two! Big love to you both xx
I'm happy for you Jane...we do need our laundry rooms, we women. You're a good man Tony!

I am sitting here on the edge of my sofa hoping beyond hope that that ceiling doesn't come down in Poor Tony's head
Could you get foam insulation for pipes so no condensation and keeps hot water hot as well ? Are you planning to dry wall the wall with insulation?
Omg I had visions of all your tiles falling off 😮 great job Tony - why did you wear a white shirt 😅
Yes,🙄 white shirt. I was 😬 cringing.
