Ok I have the sd488 16 Saturn so I’m confused I have 5 chambers so do I pump every tube up to 3.6 each up and start from the front to back thme amd the keels is 5.8 tho also my keel is a little off on the bottom amd I do not whamt to take it off the trailer amd take the aluminum floor out to fix it so what can I do also should I deflate my bait on the trailer amd reinlfate the boat all over again from front to back just asking thanks any information will help I took it on the water work good tibes are hard flor billowed a little bit I have. A 15 hp doesn’t seem lokes it’s getting on plane so I’m thinking maybe a 25 hp motor as it can hold a 40 hp if needed tho I watch your videos so trying to make it the best I can thanks

Great video. One thing to add, is when boat fully inflated, there should be no wrinkles visible on tubes. Tubes surface should be as tight as drum.

Good info, well done! I had not known about filling front to back and there were bellows… that makes perfect sense! Does the keel have an overfill vent? I kinda always worry about popping it..

Hi Dave, no the keel does not have an overflow. But it’s also never exposed to the heat of direct sunlight and once in the water is cooled by the ambient water temperature. So it doesn’t have the same pressure variance risk as the other tubes.
