How kind of you to think of those of us who have weak hands! You're a beautiful soul ❤
😊 Thank you for your kind feedback. You’re welcome. 🍂🦋
This video is rich with techniques, inspiration, and of course, beautiful creations. I am so enthusiastic about making some rusty, embellished tins! Thank you!
Go for it and have fun. Thanks for you kind comment 🍂🦋
Brilliant ideas! Very cool! Thank you!
How incredible to be able to rust anything we want to give our craft tables look like our junk journals. They’re beautiful! Thanks for spending time giving me such inspiration. ❤
Endless possibilities here…Thanks for watching and leaving me a lovely comment 🐠🦋
I'm having a good chuckle at the idea of purposely trying to make my metal tins rust! I live in Hawaii where i'm constantly battling to stop the curse of anything metal going in to full blown corrosion and rust! It's a horrible thing to deal with as it ruins everything! Aside from that, I think what you've created is very beautiful.😍
😂 I hear you, I live by the sea too🍂🦋
I love this project. I made a bunch of faux Edgeworth tobacco tins awhile back. Yours are beautifully grungy.❤
Fabulous project! ❤❤❤
The lemon tin turned out fantastic! Your creative process was good to watch and in my opinion led you to your best tin. 😊
Wow, this was simple and great!
Thank you for this excellent video on easily rusting metal!

That's so cool to learn how to rust treasure with household solutions and not buy anything special. I am diffently going to keep this recipe. I also like the lemon 🍋 one.
Glad it was helpful! Thank you so much for your feedback 🍂🦋
Love this. Thanks for the info. Looks like fun. ❤
I agree its fun because you can create amazing results in record time and feel a wonderful sense of accomplishment on many different projects. Thanks for watching and leaving me a kind comment 🤩🦋
This is so cool. I noticed you use tins to hold items and thought what a great idea. I found one and I’m definitely going to age it with this fun corrosion process and age other stationery items too and share it with the group. A great process video, Melanie, thank you.
Great idea! Have fun 🤩
This is the easiest rust recipe I’ve seen and I love what you sis with it. Thank you so much for sharing your talent.❤

Happy to help! 🤩🦋
Great video Melanie!
Thanks Kathy 🤩🦋
Love these! Actually, my favorite is the lemon napkin. 😃
Good choice! 🍋 😂🦋
Gorgeous 👍🧡👏💐
Thank you! 😊 🍋 🦋
Wow, did these turn out awesome! I love how you are using them for storage. Such a fantastic idea, I just might have to give it a go. I’m having so much problems because of all the shifting I had to do in my craft room and now I once again feel like I’m overwhelmed. I get to a point it’s like OK and I can do this, and then a shift takes place and I’m done.😂 anyway, what a lovely inspiration! Thank you for sharing all those beautiful ideas that are circling around in your creative mind! Hugs ❤️🤗
The craft room chaos is real and overwhelming for sure. You are not alone in that that. I need to see everything to remember I even have it. This results in stuff everywhere. We’ll get there…keep going ☺️🦋
Hi Mel!!! Very cleaver suggestion the alternate sanding method! Totally love those printable, as well!!💓💞💓

Great idea, super helpful method.
Why not do the bottoms too? Nothing shatters the vintage illusion faster than a brand new, shiny part 🤦🏻♀️

How do you remember what each tin contains?
I plan to label them with my vintage style Dymo lable stickers and add them to my new storage container shown at the end of the video. 🦋
