love 'em, tip for the Brad arms, if you put a small circle (the part left over from making a regular sized hole) and put that on the back side of the lever, it will add just a tiny gap to allow the arms to stay stationary inside the pocket, where by you can put a piece of tape over the arms, so as not to catch stuff as it goes in the pocket.

You know we all tried to come up with something different when we can. I just posted my new video which is also I think a little unique
Just close the split a little looser on the pin for the lever, then tape down the legs of the pin so they don’t move and don’t catch anything going in and out of the pocket. The lever will still rotate just fine on the other side.

You know I always start with an idea and then create a prototype and then try and kind of work out how to simplify it and then I have to make it 10 times before I have it down so you are not alone
Hi there, I was watching your video for the first time. You had mentioned about buying more Tim Holt's snipits. there is another option by looking into magazines & books for nature pics, butterflies 🦋, trees, flowers, roses, anything that you could want. Glue the flimsy mag papers to one of ur index cards, to give it more substance. You could also use old Christmas cards, or any cards received in the mail. I feel there're so many other options that ur crafter friends can offer you as suggestions & to save money, there are thrift shops, vintage shops with vintage cards, and so much more. Also check all the junk mail, and mail from families & friends. The world is our oyster, good luck, keep crafting. Your videos are awesome, plz remember ONE THING, we are all human, and never be afraid to make mistakes on camera, THIS my crafter friend is how WE ALL learn LEARN, by each other's mishaps ...

Put the brad in through the cover sheet only, then glue down the index card leaving a slight void of glue where the legs of the brad are. Or, cover the legs with an additional scrap of index card. It will make getting something in and out of the pocket so much easier too without having to fight the legs.

Just found you and I'm so glad! I'm a quilter and a musician so I'm trying to think how I could work those things into something like these tags. I could certainly use music instead of a book page for the pocket. I would love more info on the paint/brush you use as well as the tiny snippets. Thank you for your ideas!
Hi Peggy, yes, music pages are awesome for paper crafting and I often find old scorebooks some of them even with writing in them which I love from whoever used it or was learning from it at thrift stores. I'm going to add the links to the distress ink and little brushes that I use as well as the Tim holtz tiny snippet field notes. I love this idea! I am just about to start an Alice in Wonderland journal and I think these would be perfect in it. Also I had a thought that if you made them a little wider they could hold a gift card. I am making journals for my daughter and her three best friends for a graduation gift. This is their last year of high school. I could tuck one of those in holding an Amazon card.

Love using brads (we call them split pins in Australia). Great use of a swivel closure - love your design!! And cleverly to triple the thickness for the swivel too.
