- For the price, this subwoofer is an incredible value. I think it will keep up with (or beat) anything on the market that costs 2 or 3 times more.
Will post review and test demo of this woofer, and the rest of the Rockville gear that I am installing in my car shortly!

This first K6 sounded so good and performed so well that I bought another one! To do so, I did have to use different amplifiers but the result is bangin' big time!

UPDATE! I am very pleased with this speaker. It is loosening up a bit and starting to come into it's own and sounding great! No issues with it at all. Still a great value for the $70 I paid for it. The Rockville RXH-F5 five channel amp driving it seems to be just right for it too, and the other four channels are well-matched in power for the 2 pairs of components I am using...
While having no first-hand experience with them, the K9s seem to have been experiencing a bit of troubles, but I suspect that those issues are related to some having unrealistic expectations and trying to force them to do stuff beyond their engineered ability...but I could be wrong. We will have to wait and see. No bad reports about the K6s though and lots of praise from others about them.
Good video boss. I had a set of their older k6 12's in ported box ran on a Audiopipe APCL 1500 and then used their M4 amp.. but went back to the APCL.. darn good subs for the $$ for sure. I'm gonna hold off on these new K6 and K9 subs for a bit, seems some k9 subs have some sort of coil issue. Even went and got their Titan subs,, they were garbage.. nothing wrong with budget builds..Keep us posted, again nice review.
The 2 12" K6s are still thumping as good as ever, with 700 watts (real) RMS pushing each one.

Looks just like the RE sex-v2 and I had 2 15's and loved them great subs and 2x the price of Rockville! I'm a do 8 10's in a blow thrue one day

Keep us updated, just got one of my k6 12s in mail. Monday getting another and amp. Odd thing I noticed, max it says 2400 watts(hyped) but my box one I got came in says 3,000. Not like I would be running that, going 500rms each sub sealed.
500 rms each should rock! My amp specs say 1000 rms at 2 ohm, and i believe that is dynamic rms like you would experience for music. I have been doing sound proofing to the car to get rid of all the rattles. Lots of boom!
The spec sheet inside the box stated 2400 max watts but the box itself had 3000w printed on it. Not sure what happened with that... It isn't a 2400w or 3000w sub...more like 1200w rms. Killer deal for $70 though!
Ya, I know they are 600 Watts rms. Just funny specs say 2400 watts max, but box sub came in say 3,000 watts max, must have been misprint. Sub looks really good though, I have been doing car audio since the 1980s, running old punch amps, mtx etc, truck I decided to keep low budget. But these subs looks really good, props to Rockville. Hopefully my fiberglass box has enough airspace for the 2 12s, is a hard one to measure since it has all sorts of space you really can't measure unless I was great at math, which I am not. I am thinking around 1 cf per sub. If sound bad, will go in my ss camaro and put shallow mtx fpr 12s I have in the truck. Either way will be using them. Couldn't beat the deal, $269 shipped for 2 k6 12s, install kit and a DB14 amp.
About to order one !

Nearly 5 months of rockin and they are still doing great! 2 of em powered at 600 watts certified RMS each.
I may try a 10 sealed for mid bass my custom 15s only play 18-28hz very VERY well but I do listen to music so ya need to fill in the gap and I have 430 watt Memphis amp laying around anyhow :)

I got it in the car today but didn't have time to adjust all the crossovers and stuff for the other channels. The subwoofer sounds killer so far, even though not dialed in yet. You are going to dig yours! Cheers!

I did get it put in the car, and spent a fair bit of time yesterday getting the whole system dialed in. Wasn't the easiest thing to do having 9 total speakers in there and working in a virgin car. The sub is absolutely badass! I am using the Rockville RXD-F5 five-channel amp, and it boasts 1000 watts RMS (700 CEA rated RMS watts)...and paired with the sub, it just whoops ass! Best subwoofer value ever! You will not be let down!
I plan to do a follow-up video, showing it installed, but I am going to make a rack for the amp and crossovers and clean it up as nicely as I can. Right now, it is like a wire jungle in the trunk because I just wanted to get it up and running and make sure everything worked....leaving lots of extra wire to work with.
Crazy 8s Drums man just got my sub connected witt cheap vent box it's killing my cvx only have a 1000 watt pioneer got them both at 1ohm wish I had better battery .
Sweet, man! I am only using 500 CEA watts to mine and it has more than enough for what I will do with it...and in a cheap vented box too. I just ordered an additional battery and cabling for the big three also.....just to be like insurance against wrecking the charging system.

Dang i got 2 10 xfl american bass somebody wants to buy them and thinking of buying 4 12s of these and connecting to 1ohm but i hear really bad about this brand ..idk lol
The bad press you've heard was about the K9 series....and it was from people putting way too much power to them.. My K6s get 700 watts CEA RMS watts and they have been doing great for over a year now.
