Ironically what Russel Crowe suggested is something we haven't seen in that character before, I hope in the next Bond iteration rather than have this constantly well-dressed man with excessive amounts of money and resourses they need to have someone who can actually infiltrate many places on earth by not only being multi-lingual but can imitate different voices and accents perfectly as they can slip into almost any culture on earth, he needs to be the man you least suspect in a crowd.

A good example would be fassbenders performance in Inglorious Basterds, he was literally a quintessential English gentleman and yet he could still just about convince a group of Nazis he was one of them. To me Bond should be capable of doing just this and it would make for a far more suspenseful movie than just loud explosions, I want to see a guy who is doing everything in his intellectual and physical power to not be noticed.

@@padmelotus yeah it’s because of all the time he’s spent here and the fact he is an actor who isn’t usually (at least when he was really breaking out) put in rolls where is accent makes a whole lot of sense, I think it’s one of the those cases where he put so much time and effort into “Speaking proper” that it’s just become second nature to him at this point. I will say though that the specific accent inflection and dialect he speaks sounds very south Australian, sounds just like the way people speak in my family’s hometown.
I would like Cavill as a JAMES BOND VILLAIN. A really bad villain. Not like a Mission Impossible villain. A calculating, smart, cunning, deadly villain.
