The three primary views are pre-tribulational (the rapture occurs before the tribulation), mid-tribulational (the rapture occurs at or near the mid-point of the tribulation), and post-tribulational (the rapture occurs at the end of the tribulation). Thank you for preaching on the pre rapture, here in Australia there are very few Churches who are preaching the Lords rapture our greatest hope and longing to be with him, it is so sad to see this the falling away of this teaching, some in our church have never heard of the rapture. The Rapture is the best news I’ve heard after salvation through Jesus the Messiah! I loved this message, so thank you. One day I was thinking, I don’t want to die and miss the rapture. ☹️! 1. The pretribulation rapture is impossible because the very scriptures that are often used to support pretribulationism actually show the opposite, that the taking up of the church is at the same time as His second coming to come with Him back to earth.
"For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord." (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17.) Notice, the resurrection happens first and it is simultaneous with the coming of the Lord.
2. The pretribulation rapture is impossible because there’s not one verse in the Bible that teaches a pretribulation rapture.
3. The pretribulation rapture is impossible because the Lord Jesus prayed against it. In John 17, Jesus prayed for “those who will believe in me through their word,” (John 17:20), That’s the church, that they not be taken out of the world (17:15). The pretribulation rapture is impossible because the Lord Jesus prayed that it not happen.
4. The pretribulation rapture is impossible because it’s an invention of the 19th century. It’s an historical fact that Darby invented pretribulationism. No one found the pretribulation rapture in the Bible prior to that because it’s not in the Bible.
5. The pretribulation rapture is impossible because if there was one, the people left behind would know exactly when the Lord Jesus is returning. He said that no one knows the day of His return (Matthew 24:36).
6. The pretribulation is impossible because the Apostle Paul wrote the Jesus returns at the “last trumpet” (1 Corinthians 15:52). The pretribulation rapture story says the rapture happens before the trumpets of Revelation.
7. The pretribulation rapture is impossible because the “wrath of God” (1 Thessaonians 5:9) is not a future historical period. Paul wrote in Romans 1:18 that “the wrath of God is being revealed” (present tense). The “wrath of God” in scripture is judgment and hell, not a future “tribulation”.
@@yeoberry There is no way that you even listened to this sermon if you continue to push your bullet points. The Blessed Hope is talked about in Titus as well as the scriptures that he has cited. Jesus never told us we need to prepare for the coming wrath of God and what we need to do because we won't be there. It is obvious you have not read the entire Bible because it all fits together when you read it. It all makes sense. I am so thankful that I believe in pretribulation rapture, because I would feel helpless, hopeless and be scared of the future like many of my friends do that don't believe in the rapture. But, even though I know things may get worse and we may have to endure trials and tribulations that may come yet because of what is happening in our corrupt world, I KNOW without a doubt, that I "am not destined for the wrath to come. " I feel so badly for people who do not have this Blessed Hope. Because without it, we have no hope at all except for when we die.

@@da08c24 That verse you are talking about was a Saturday night meeting, which according to our time it would not have been on the first day of the week as out time starts at midnight, which occurred after Paul had preached to them all day on Saturday. It was a sad meeting for Paul because he knew that he would not see any of them again and he loved them very much. The breaking of bread does not always mean they were having communion they were just eating supper because it tells us that after midnight Paul ate again.Acts 20;25 And now, behold, I know that ye all, among whom I have gone preaching the kingdom of God, shall see my face no more.
If you believe that Paul taught that the sabbath had been changed to Sunday then you have been deceived into believing the lies of Old Satan by the sun day preachers.
Acts 25:8 and Acts 28:17 gives absolute proof that Paul never taught that the sabbath had been changed because if he had he would have been lying in these verses because changing the sabbath would have been against the Temple and against the forefathers, so do you think that Paul was lying or are the sun day preachers lying to you about the sabbath being changed to Sun day?

Great message jack !! I was saved when I was 19 back in 1978 , rescued out of the 70s drug culture . ( similar to jd’s story ) I have been a pre-trib guy from the beginning , listening to van impe and Hal Lindsey back in the 80s , I was so blessed to stumble across Amir last year on UA-cam ! Went to hear him last year at a Cincinnati prophecy conference , thanks so much to you and Jan ,jd ,Barry ,don and Amir for keeping this so grossly neglected topic alive ! I host a small watchman group in my home , a prophecy round table , we often watch these videos together , so sad to see this subject virtually disappear from churches . The lords desire is not to come for his church like a thief ,but as the bridegroom coming for his bride who’s lamp is full and her heart longing for Him ! The rapture has been called a signless event , so how do we know it is so close ? Because the tribulation stage is being set right before our eyes ! Come on church , wake up and smell the coffee !! I was blessed by God to have men of God in Jackson Hole, Wyoming like Orville Wolf and Don Landis(Teton Resort Ministries) to teach Escatology. It planted a seed in my life that I still cling to today. I too listen to those you listed. They are expository preachers and have been risen up for a day such as this.
Matthew 24:29-31 The Words of Jesus:

Did you know that in the Old Testament "24" was used to describe a GROUP of people LARGER than 24?
24 was used in the Old Testament TWICE to represent a LARGER group:
1.) King David divided the Levitical priesthood into 24 orders, (1 Chronicles 24:3-5). Each order represented the entire priestly tribe and the whole nation of Israel as it functioned before God.
2.) In 1 Chronicles 25 King David did a similar dividing into 24 of the singers and musicians who would perform worship in the Temple. There were 288 musicians total and King David had them divided into 24 divisions, so similar to the previous chapter, 24 symbolizes the whole group.
Now I want to show you something....
In the prophetic book of Revelation (which literally means UNVEILING), we see a group described as "24 Elders" in heaven BEFORE Jesus opens the first seal (Rev. 4 & 5).
Now I hear people try to say that the 24 Elders are simply the 12 original Apostles/Disciples of the Lord and the 12 Original sons of Jacob from where the 12 Tribes of Israel came from....
Two scriptural facts debunk that:
1.) The Disciples were Jews, NOT out of every kindred, tongue, people and nation....the sons of Jacob (Jacob was Isaac’s son, Isaac was Abraham’s son) were Hebrew, as the Bible makes clear that Abraham was called a Hebrew in Genesis 14:13, and even Joseph-one of the 12 Tribes was also referred to as a Hebrew in Genesis 39:14.
2.) The Bible states clearly that NO ONE but Jesus has ascended up to heaven but He that came from heaven; and Hebrews 11 makes clear that even those of Old Testament times to whom the promises were made (Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, etc. SHALL NOT be made perfect without us (Church). Romans 8 states that we shall be GLORIFIED TOGETHER. So keep that in mind when you read that there is a group in heaven clothed in white raiment (glorified), crowned and seated on the throne at rest; singing about being redeemed by Jesus blood out of every kindred, tongue, people and nation.
The Jewish apostle and 12 Sons of Jacob were NOT “out of every kindred, tongue people and nation".
We cannot ignore that the group in Revelation 4 & 5 describes themselves as "out of every kindred, tongue, people and nation" which has ALWAYS been a LARGE group in scripture.
REMEMBER:

In their description, EVERYTHING we read about the 24 Elders are things ONLY promised to the CHURCH.

The 24 Elders are clothed in white Raiment and seated at rest in the throne with Jesus in their midst (overcomer promises from Jesus HIMSELF-Rev. 3:5, 3:21 ), ....
You must understand that the Bible interprets itself. We learn what an OVERCOMER is in the Holy Word and truth:
1 John 5:4-5 (KJV)
4 For whatsoever is BORN OF GOD overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that BELIEVETH that Jesus is the Son of God?
An OVERCOMER is a born again believer in Christ.
The 24 Elders in Rev. 4 & 5 sing in the FIRST PERSON PLURAL (we, our, us) even in the original manuscripts; and they describe themselves as REDEEMED BY JESUS BLOOD, OUT OF EVERY KINDRED, TONGUE, PEOPLE AND NATION;
They also sing about being made KINGS AND PRIESTS and about REIGNING. (All exclusively promised ONLY to the Church).
Now, what is the original Greek word translated to "ELDER" in the Original language and it's meaning?
An ELDER of which Peter called himself one (1 Peter 5),...is as follows:

4245 presbýteros - properly, a mature man having seasoned judgment (experience); an elder.
Therefore an "Elder" is a mature person having experience to judge.
Remember that as we grow in Christ we go from milk to meat in our understanding. Babies start off on formula, then as they mature they can drink milk, then eat solids. Our walk with Christ is one of growth and even in our understanding of the meat of the word we do grow and mature.
WHO is promised to JUDGE WITH CHRIST according to the word?
1 Corinthians 6:2 (KJV)
2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? .....
Jude. 14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, 15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
WE MUST STAND ON THE TRUTH OF THE WORD-RIGHTLY DIVIDED. WE MUST FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS IN ISAIAH 28:9-10 WHICH IS "HOW" SCRIPTURES MAKES CLEAR WE ARE TO UNDERSTAND DOCTRINE.
Again-keep in mind that the BIBLE which is truth makes clear that WE SHALL BE GLORIFIED TOGETHER (Roman's 8:16-18).....and that no one from Old Testament times of which the promises were first made [Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Noah etc.], shall be made perfect (glorified) without us. (Hebrews 11:39-40).
That group in Rev. 4 & 5 can ONLY be (according to the WORD AND TRUTH), no one else BUT THE FAITHFUL CHURCH. If you do not argue against what the WORD OF GOD (JESUS) Himself shows us in the REVELATION (unveiling) OF JESUS CHRIST, you can see the truth of it.
THE FAITHFUL CHURCH shall be in heaven, joint heirs with Christ BEFORE Jesus opens that first seal.
In the first seal, it is JESUS HIMSELF (while He is in heaven) who unleashes that crowned rider in Rev. 6 at the START of that 7 year period, that has the GREAT TRIBULATION IN IT.
Jesus unleashes the Antichrist (the only one who shall have a KINGDOM on earth during that 7 year period that has the great tribulation in it, is the Antichrist), Jesus Millennial Kingdom is after that time... -
THE ANTICHRIST KINGDOM is comprised of the false prophet, the antichrist, the dragon, the 10 kings who shall give the Antichrist their power and he in turn makes them part of his antichrist kingdom, and MYSTERY BABYLON.
Jesus ALONE is worthy to open those seals, and it is only after His bride is up safely, seated on the throne with Jesus in her midst (Rev. 4&5), ....that Jesus unleashes the Antichrist (first seal) in his full conquering power, in order for him to CONFIRM (magnify/strengthen) THE covenant with MANY, which begins that 7 year period.
Jesus unleashes the Antichrist only after the Church is in heaven, because judgement FIRST BEGINS in the HOUSE OF GOD.
Then the Antichrist CONFIRMS THE COVENANT WITH MANY (which begins that 7 year period that this Antichrist figure will break-3 1/2 years AFTER he confirms it)....
JESUS HIMSELF shows us a pre-tribulation always Rapture by presenting the Church in her position of inheritance and promise in Revelation 4 & 5.
Family of Christ, of all the warnings in scripture, one of the most serious FROM JESUS HIMSELF is against those who take away or add to what REVELATION says:
Revelation 22:16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
IF HAVING YOUR PART TAKEN OUT OF THE BOOK OF LIFE FOR TAKING AWAY FROM WHAT IS IN THE BOOK OF REVELATION, MEANS THAT YOUR NAME SHALL NOT BE FOUND IN THAT BOOK....PLEASE UNDERSTAND WHAT YOUR ETERNAL PORTION SHALL BE FOR HAVING TAKEN OUT OF WHAT IS IN THE BOOK WE ARE TO RECEIVE BLESSINGS FOR HEARING AND READING....

15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
DO YOU OR DO YOU NOT BELIEVE ALL THAT THE WORD OF OF GOD HAS SAID?
So we ought to carefully study and rightly divide especially what is in Revelation. And we are to let the Holy Bible interpret itself.
We are to FEAR GOD, which is the BEGINNING of wisdom...AND let GOD be true and EVERY man-no matter the bells and whistles or outward appearance of righteousness any man carries, if what you want is what came from God, STAND FIRM nothing wavering on what God said, studied and rightly divided-in the manner we are told to study in Isaiah 28:9-10
The thing is that we are told the following: 2 Timothy 4:1-3 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.
3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; *****IF WE JUST stand by and allow someone to lead God's people astray and into a bed of confusion with misinterpretations when we know the truth, we are the root of the problem. A light is not made to hide it; we must stand firm the on truth with the SWORD OF THE SPIRIT which is the word of God. The Rapture is something we are to comfort one another with; but instead many are taking away or adding to what Jesus Himself shows us in the book of Revelation. If we love them we will try to help with with scripture; if they will not listen then we dust off our hands. To whom much is given, much is expected. The harvest is plenty but the laborers few.

Only the blood of Jesus can save you, but if you want to reign with Christ you might have to give your blood, for no others have the promise of the first resurrection other than martyrs. That is very powerful scriptural and no evidence of otherwise.

24 was used in the Old Testament TWICE to represent a LARGER group:
1.) King David divided the Levitical priesthood into 24 orders, (1 Chronicles 24:3-5). Each order represented the entire priestly tribe and the whole nation of Israel as it functioned before God.
2.) In 1 Chronicles 25 King David did a similar dividing into 24 of the singers and musicians who would perform worship in the Temple. There were 288 musicians total and King David had them divided into 24 divisions, so similar to the previous chapter, 24 symbolized the whole group.
In their description, EVERYTHING we read about the 24 Elders are things ONLY promised to the CHURCH.
The 24 Elders are crowned with GOLD KINGLY CROWNS OF SALVATION -see Rev. 4.....(now read 2 Timothy 4:8, Psalm 21:1-7)....
The 24 Elders are clothed in white Raiment and seated at rest in the throne with Jesus in their midst (overcomer promises from Jesus HIMSELF-Rev. 3:5, 3:21 ), ....
You must understand that the Bible interprets itself. We learn what an OVERCOMER is in the Holy Word and truth:
1 John 5:4-5 (KJV)
4 For whatsoever is BORN OF GOD overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that BELIEVETH that Jesus is the Son of God?
An OVERCOMER is a born again believer in Christ.
The 24 Elders in Rev. 4 & 5 sing in the FIRST PERSON PLURAL (we, our, us) even in the original manuscripts; and they describe themselves as REDEEMED BY JESUS BLOOD, OUT OF EVERY KINDRED, TONGUE, PEOPLE AND NATION;
They also sing about being made KINGS AND PRIESTS and about REIGNING. (All exclusively promised ONLY to the Church).
Now, what is the original Greek word translated to "ELDER" in the Original language and it's meaning?
An ELDER of which Peter called himself one (1 Peter 5),...is as follows:

Therefore an "Elder" is a mature person having experience to judge.
Remember that as we grow in Christ we go from milk to meat in our understanding. Babies start off on formula, then as they mature they can drink milk, then eat solids. Our walk with Christ is one of growth and even in our understanding of the meat of the word we do grow and mature.
WHO is promised to JUDGE WITH CHRIST according to the word?

2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? .....
Jude. 14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, 15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
WE MUST STAND ON THE TRUTH OF THE WORD-RIGHTLY DIVIDED. WE MUST FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS IN ISAIAH 28:9-10 WHICH IS "HOW" SCRIPTURES MAKES CLEAR WE ARE TO UNDERSTAND DOCTRINE.
Again-keep in mind that the BIBLE which is truth makes clear that WE SHALL BE GLORIFIED TOGETHER (Roman's 8:16-18).....and that no one from Old Testament times of which the promises were first made [Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Noah etc.], shall be made perfect (glorified) without us. (Hebrews 11:39-40).
That group in Rev. 4 & 5 can ONLY be (according to the WORD AND TRUTH), no one else BUT THE FAITHFUL CHURCH. If you do not argue against what the WORD OF GOD (JESUS) Himself shows us in the REVELATION (unveiling) OF JESUS CHRIST, you can see the truth of it.
THE FAITHFUL CHURCH shall be in heaven, joint heirs with Christ BEFORE Jesus opens that first seal.
In the first seal, it is JESUS HIMSELF (while He is in heaven) who unleashes that crowned rider in Rev. 6 at the START of that 7 year period, that has the GREAT TRIBULATION IN IT.
Jesus unleashes the Antichrist (the only one who shall have a KINGDOM on earth during that 7 year period that has the great tribulation in it, is the Antichrist), Jesus Millennial Kingdom is after that time... -
THE ANTICHRIST KINGDOM is comprised of the false prophet, the antichrist, the dragon, the 10 kings who shall give the Antichrist their power and he in turn makes them part of his antichrist kingdom, and MYSTERY BABYLON.
Jesus ALONE is worthy to open those seals, and it is only after His bride is up safely, seated on the throne with Jesus in her midst (Rev. 4&5), ....that Jesus unleashes the Antichrist (first seal) in his full conquering power, in order for him to CONFIRM (magnify/strengthen) THE covenant with MANY, which begins that 7 year period.
Jesus unleashes the Antichrist only after the Church is in heaven, because judgement FIRST BEGINS in the HOUSE OF GOD.
Then the Antichrist CONFIRMS THE COVENANT WITH MANY (which begins that 7 year period that this Antichrist figure will break-3 1/2 years AFTER he confirms it)....
JESUS HIMSELF shows us a pre-tribulation always Rapture by presenting the Church in her position of inheritance and promise in Revelation 4 & 5.
Family of Christ, of all the warnings in scripture, one of the most serious FROM JESUS HIMSELF is against those who take away or add to what REVELATION says:

I believe people just repeat the false teaching without ever searching scripture themselves. The pre trib. is much nicer to believe. Jesus made it clear that the Daniel prophecy about the Abomination of Desolation is key to understanding the end times (Matt. 24:15).
The rapture is post trib, but pre wrath. We go through the Tribulation but raptured before God’s wrath. The Tribulation is not God’s wrath.
- the Tribulation is not 7 years but 3 1/2 years. The Tribulation is the Abomination of Desolation (Matt 24:15), which starts half way through the 7 year covenant (Dan 9:27).
- The Antichrist must come first and sit in the third temple.
- The Antichrist will rule for 3 1/2 years Daniel 11 and Revelation 13.
- The mark of the beast is part of the 3 1/2 years. We will be here for that.

Our viewpoints have shifted slightly to a view of Yashuah "hiding us in His Tabenacle", or "hiding us in the cleft of the rock", or "hiding us in His pavillion"... If Daniel's 70th week is the Day of the Lord, and the Day of the Lord is the tribulation period, and antichrist is not revealed until mid point of the 7 years, and, according to Jesus the time of great tribulation begins when the antichrist is revealed in the abomination of desolation at the mid-point, and, according to Paul in 2 Thess. 2, the Day of the Lord does not begin until after the antichrist is revealed, then the first 3.5 years is tribulation saints must endure before antichrist is revealed. The rapture can not occur until at least after 3.5 years from the peace treaty made at the beginning of Daniel's 70th week. Be ready for tribulation and be aware that you will take the mark of the beast if you are so confident that pretribulation rapture is true. Beware the mark. Be ready for tribulation.

We would love to believe in the pre-trib rapture but many of us have taken the time to actually read the Bible and have found the pre-trib theory to be weighed,measured and been found lacking any biblical support. You'll never hear this guy preaching on John 6:39,40,44,54

Amen. I believe pre-Trib, but there is a good case for pre-wrath Trib too! So instead of fighting about it, my job is to be ready and tell as many as I can about Jesus.

@@bethannhayward6639 Actually, the Bible does not teach a 7 year tribulation. It does not teach of a Tribulation. First, it refers to it as a 7 Year Peace Treaty between Israel and her enemies. The first 3 1/2 years is rather peaceful, the Jews are allowed to rebuild their Temple and resume the morning and evening sacrifices. Then at the middle of the 7 years, the antichrist desecrates the Temple, stops the sacrifices, he is revealed as the antichrist, he declares war on the Jews, and he institutes the Mark of the Beast. I think the rapture of the church is close. I have been a Christian for sixty five years. I was taught by my dad since a child about the rapture. We had two pastors who taught it but the pastor now never opens revelation. I love your message and enjoy all your teachings

If there is a LAST TRUMP, there is a FIRST TRUMP. If there is a HIGH CALLING, there is a LESSER CALLING. The bridal remnant will be a joint heir as husband and wife. The bulk of the church will be only heirs as children.
The barley bride is taken up in Rev 4 at pretrib, where he tells John, "COME UP HERE!". This is a very small remnant of the church that leaves at pretrib. All christians are called for this HIGH AND HEAVENLY CALLING, but few will be chosen. The bulk of the church is in a DEEP SLEEP like Adam. While Adam ( the church) slept, God was forming a bride from a rib ((TAKEN OUT OF)) Adam. This is a rib portion, a very small remnant that makes up this bridal company.
The bulk of the church has spots and wrinkles in their robes that will be cleaned in the first part of the tribulation period. How do they have wrinkles in their robes? They are in a deep sleep! When you're lying down in these robes, they get wrinkled. They have spots because of false doctrines.
There is a pretrib rapture, and the bulk of the church, like yourself, will reject the truth. The Lord will use this bridal remnant to speak in these last days. This remnant will be a mouthpiece unto God. She will be rejected by the church and the world before she departs.

The truth will get many angry. It will be a stark contrast of things you learned your entire life! The verse about John being caught up at pretrib is only one verse, brother. The Lord has it beautifully woven from the Old to the New Testament. We will go to heaven by ranks, just as Paul said.

No, they never contradict themselves. Some of them pertain to the pre-trib rapture, and some refer to the second coming. That's why it appears that any contradictions exist. God is almighty and perfect, so is His word. Maybe look into the rapture videos of pastor Allen Nolan. He walks us verse by verse from the translations to our understanding. He even has some called rapture vs the second coming! I hope that helps. He makes it all so easy, even Revelation! I never thought I could understand it all until the Lord led me to him.

If you look at what Paul said in 2Thes.2:1-4, you'll see that in verse one he is referring to the rapture (Jesus coming to gather us unto himself). Then in verse 2 he refers to "that" same day as the Day of the Lord.
You are right in saying these are two distinct and different happenings, but they both happen simultaneously on the very same day according to Paul.
The one thing that you said in your last sentence shows us all that you listen to a man and trust him more than you read and trust the Bible for yourself. You said, "You should watch this video you're commenting on for starters, to receive a better understanding."

@@macadams9240 Finally, correct doctrine. You are right and so is Michael. This pre-trib doctrine based on inferences such as Rev 4.1 is extremely misleading. I could go on for hours about what is not Biblically sound about this message but I will try to be brief. Pastor Jack is a fantastically bold preacher and I love him for that but I believe this message is Biblically incorrect on many points - "He who restrains" is an inference that creates a false premise to build on. Nothing in the Bible defines that "he who restrains" is the Holy Spirit or the church. He who restrains could be Michael the Archangel who stands watch over his people - Daniel 12.1 - Michael who watches over his people gets up out of his seat and great tribulation starts. I wouldn't teach either as definitive truth because the Bible does not clearly state it. The last verse in Revelation 6 pinpoints when the great day of God's wrath comes and it is after the sun, moon, and stars go dark which is after martyrdom and in Matthew 24:29 you see the same event with sun, moon, stars going dark "after the tribulation of those days." AFTER THE TRIBULATION, AFTER THE 6 SEALS PACKED WITH SATAN'S/MAN'S WRATH, then He will send His angels to gather His elect from the 4 CORNERS OF THE EARTH. The tribulation is not God's wrath....it is Satan's wrath against God's people. Jesus comes with His Holy Angels in the rapture/Day of the Lord. It's clearly the same day. Comes with 10,000 of His saints? Jude 14 - in the Greek it is "myriads of His Holy Ones" - "myriads of angels," etc. Everywhere in the Bible you see Jesus coming with His Holy Angels. Matthew 24 He sends His angels to gather His elect.. Read several different versions and the Greek regarding Jude 14. It is really referring to angels. We don't go up and come down - we just go up. We are indeed not appointed to God's wrath but in this world we will have tribulation and God's wrath does not start until after the tribulation. This escapist doctrine is encouraging and I wish it were Biblically sound enough to teach as definitive truth, but it is not. Is is based on inferred premises that are in turn built upon and are just what we want to hear. I believe this doctrine leaves the church unprepared to face persecution. The "blessed hope" is still blessed hope whether we happen to die before the rapture or whether we find ourselves in the tribulation. It is the same blessed hope.

1. The pretribulation rapture is impossible because the very scriptures that are often used to support pretribulationism actually show the opposite, that the taking up of the church is at the same time as His second coming to come with Him back to earth.
"For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord." (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17.) Notice, the resurrection happens first and it is simultaneous with the coming of the Lord.
2. The pretribulation rapture is impossible because there’s not one verse in the Bible that teaches a pretribulation rapture.
3. The pretribulation rapture is impossible because the Lord Jesus prayed against it. In John 17, Jesus prayed for “those who will believe in me through their word,” (John 17:20), That’s the church, that they not be taken out of the world (17:15). The pretribulation rapture is impossible because the Lord Jesus prayed that it not happen.
4. The pretribulation rapture is impossible because it’s an invention of the 19th century. It’s an historical fact that Darby invented pretribulationism. No one found the pretribulation rapture in the Bible prior to that because it’s not in the Bible.
5. The pretribulation rapture is impossible because if there was one, the people left behind would know exactly when the Lord Jesus is returning. He said that no one knows the day of His return (Matthew 24:36).
6. The pretribulation is impossible because the Apostle Paul wrote the Jesus returns at the “last trumpet” (1 Corinthians 15:52). The pretribulation rapture story says the rapture happens before the trumpets of Revelation.
7. The pretribulation rapture is impossible because the “wrath of God” (1 Thessaonians 5:9) is not a future historical period. Paul wrote in Romans 1:18 that “the wrath of God is being revealed” (present tense). The “wrath of God” in scripture is judgment and hell, not a future “tribulation”.

Clement of Rome (35-101), Ignatius of Antioch (died 110), The Didache (a late first-century anonymous Christian treatise), The Epistle of Pseudo-Barnabas (circa 70-130), and The Shepherd of Hermas (second century) all reference Christ’s imminent return.[2] Even though it appears that the apostolic fathers were largely post-tribulational (because they believed the persecution they were enduring was the tribulation itself), they held to the doctrine of imminency. J. Barton Payne (a post-tribulationist) concluded that “belief in the imminence of the return of Jesus was the uniform hope of the early church.”[3]
But it appears that Irenaeus of Lyon (120-202) was a pre-tribulationist. Irenaeus was a disciple of Polycarp (who was a disciple of the apostle John) and articulated his eschatological views in Against Heresies, Book 5. First, he referred to Enoch’s translation and Elijah’s being “caught up” as previews of the Rapture. “For Enoch, when he pleased God, was translated in the same body in which he did please Him, thus pointing out by anticipation the translation of the just. Elijah, too, was caught up [when he was yet] in the substance of the [natural] form; thus exhibiting in prophecy the assumption of those who are spiritual, and that nothing stood in the way of their body being translated and caught up.”[4] Second, Irenaeus refers to the Church’s being “caught up” before the tribulation. “And therefore, when in the end the Church shall be suddenly caught up from this, it is said, ‘There shall be tribulation such as has not been since the beginning, neither shall be’ (Mat 24:21). For this is the last contest of the righteous, in which, when they overcome they are crowned with incorruption.”[5] The italicized “this” in his quotation is clearly a reference to the tribulation, which he then introduces.
Victorinus of Petrovium (died 304) was a bishop in modern Slovenia, martyred during Diocletian’s reign. In his commentary on Revelation (6:14), he writes, “And the heaven withdrew as a scroll that is rolled up.] For the heaven to be rolled away, that is, that the Church shall be taken away.”[6] Later, while explaining Revelation 15, he writes, “And I saw another great and wonderful sign, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is completed the indignation of God.] For the wrath of God always strikes the obstinate people with seven plagues, that is, perfectly, as it is said in Leviticus; and these shall be in the last time, when the Church shall have gone out of the midst.”[7] Therefore, Victorinus believed the Church would be raptured before the breaking of the seventh seal (and therefore, before the seven trumpet judgments and the seven bowl judgments), making him, at least, what we refer to as “pre-wrath” in his eschatology
The first time Jesus comes he calls us up to meet him in the clouds. The second time he comes for the 1000 year reign. It wouldn’t make sense for him to come and us not to go to heaven but stay on earth for 1000 years.
Look up Jewish tradition and the 7 days after a wedding. Post trib doesn’t make any sense if you study it

John gives the description of the Lord Jesus coming in chapter 1 of the Revelation of Jesus Christ, to the churches, in which Philadelphia is one of those seven, so they are expecting His coming, to be like this and this is a direct parallel, of the same description, Jesus gave in Mat. 24, which is after the tribulation.) The video gives the argument quite well there is no need to call the scriptures "trash". Christians throughout Christians have been and are being persecuted. The tribulation is the time of "Jacobs" trouble not the church. This is when God goes back to dealing with His physical people on earth the "Jews." At the end of this great tribulation the remnant of Israel will be saved as a nation. Christians suffer persecution in this day and age, but the Lord isn't going let His "Bride" (the Church) suffer this great time of wrath. This time period of the tribulation is going to be so terrible that God has to shorten the days so all flesh isn't destroyed.

If you are a believer in our LORD Jesus Christ, I pray that you are, then you have to believe that scripture is the inerrant, infallible Word of God Almighty. "All scripture is given by the inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness." 2 Timothy 3:16
"For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened." Matthew 24:21-22 Jesus is speaking of the great tribulation to come (the likes never to have been seen on earth); "the elect's sake" Jesus is referring to the "chosen ones", the Jews not the church. The great tribulation is known as "The Time of Jacob's Trouble", "Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it." Jeremiah 30:7. These 2 scriptures back each other up, "line upon line".
Yes, there has always been persecution and heinous atrocities towards the Jews and also of the Church; but the time spoken about above and what this whole comment section is discussing has not yet happened. God hates evil and any persecution of his children at any time in history. Because He loves us, is why he has revealed his plan to us throughout scripture. "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." 2 Timothy 2:15. We have to understand there are "dispensations" of time in scripture. The Patriarchal dispensation, the Mosaic/Jewish dispensation and the Christian/Church dispensation.
As believers, we have to take the Lord's word with faith and leave the details up to him. Also, the future time event of the tribulation involves the "whole world", not the small geographical area of the Pope's reach of the inquisition period.
So to answer your question. Yes, the worst time ever on earth and if you are a true believer in the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary; the LORD promises never to leave or forsake us "Let your conversation be without covetnousness; and be content with such things, as ye have: for he hath said, I WILL NEVER LEAVE THEE, NOR FORSAKE THEE." Thank U. God led me to a book about the End Times and it does not believe in the Pre-Trib rapture and I have been grappling with the inconsistencies. This teaching SOLIDIFIED for me the Truth of the Pre-Trib Rapture. God is Good and how could he use "works/punishment" in the Tribulation Wrath as some sort of "winnowing" event for his Bride. Incomprehensible. Perhaps those who see it the other way feel UNWORTHINESS and want to Prove to God they can withstand or something. Thank U again for Telling the Truth.

Deception can only be decerned by the Spirit of Truth( the Holy Spirit, Who is God). Deception doesn't even sound like lies at all, it tickles the ears, and that is why it is called deception. Truths sometimes are very uncomfortable, and hard to comprehend.

How can there be a before tribulation rapture, when tribulation began in The Garden of Eden?
Some preachers say this proves that there will be a secret pretribulation rapture; *"Christ comes as a thief in the night."* But that is wrong, the return of the Lord, and the gathering together of the saints to Him in the air, is *not* a quiet and secretive event.
"A thief in the night," refers to the unsaved who because they are not looking for Christ's return, will be living their "sinful life as usual." Just like in the Days of Noah, the unbelievers were eating, and drinking, and marrying, and then, * suddenly,* the Wrath of God comes upon them, *suddenly.* Imagine being in a state of sleep one night, then suddenly a theif breaks in and steals. But those who are aware to keep watch knows that when we hear of w@rs, and rumors of w@rs, and earthquakes in diverse places, we know that these are the beginning of sorrows. We who are looking for Christ's return, know that when we see all those things, mentioned in Matthew, to know that Salvation(Christ) is near.

Some preachers say that the falling away is speaking of the rapture, but they are wrong. The Falling away is the falling away from the TRUTH, it is the falling away from Christ who is the WAY, the TRUTH, and LIFE. Those who fall away will be at risk of falling into deception, and most if not all, will definitely be deceived, having given over to a strong delusion.
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth, how then can you be deceived? You cannot be deceived if the Holy Spirit is with you, it will not be possible to deceive the elect of God.

People are getting confused with tribulation and the wrath of God, because of lies. Tribulation means trouble. It is not about being tolerant to the world's demands. It is about what is right, and Holy, and pleasing to God. We must obey God, rather than man.
*Tribulation is not God's wrath, it is satan's rule.* Tribulation began with satan in the Garden of Eden preaching another gospel, and deceiving, and stealing, and continuing to present days, and to the end of the world.
Choose to follow Christ even when it's hard, and unpopular, and brings much suffering at times.

Verse 31, is what some preachers refer to as the rapture. But it happens when? When Christ is coming in the clouds of heaven *with power and great glory, after the sun and the moon fades away, and the stars( comets) fall to the earth. The powers of heaven shall be shaken.
Even the principalities and powers know this, they just want to rebell against God continually.

Jesus comes in the clouds, that is for the Rapture (Greek erchomai), the trumpet blows for the resurrection. He does not go to earth, but to Heaven for the Wedding. Then He comes back with the Saints to earth for judgement (Greek parousia). Both events happen the same day (Luke 17:29+30).
The gathering is unto Him in the air by angels (2.Thess 2:1; Mat 13:30+39).
the elect are not only Tribulation Saints, that would mean 2 Raptures, there is only one "we (including Paul) ALL will be gathered in a moment (not in stages) at the last trump. The Rapture is together with the resurrection of the dead in Christ (1. Cor 15:23) at His parousia=advent. The next resurrection is the First Resurrection (protos=always first or here the main resurrection of the Saints in Christ). The next one is 1000 years later, not 1007).

If you have been taught that it means, “physical departure” (I.e. the rapture), you should know that there is no NT verse in that context, nor is there any historical early church writings either. It was meant as a departure from the truth or departure from the faith and not as a physical departure from a place. That erroneous idea is and has been used to support Darby’s false doctrine in the 1830’s and enhanced by Schofield in the years that followed. 1. The pretribulation rapture is impossible because the very scriptures that are often used to support pretribulationism actually show the opposite, that the taking up of the church is at the same time as His second coming to come with Him back to earth.
"For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord." (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17.) Notice, the resurrection happens first and it is simultaneous with the coming of the Lord.
2. The pretribulation rapture is impossible because there’s not one verse in the Bible that teaches a pretribulation rapture.
3. The pretribulation rapture is impossible because the Lord Jesus prayed against it. In John 17, Jesus prayed for “those who will believe in me through their word,” (John 17:20), That’s the church, that they not be taken out of the world (17:15). The pretribulation rapture is impossible because the Lord Jesus prayed that it not happen.
4. The pretribulation rapture is impossible because it’s an invention of the 19th century. It’s an historical fact that Darby invented pretribulationism. No one found the pretribulation rapture in the Bible prior to that because it’s not in the Bible.
5. The pretribulation rapture is impossible because if there was one, the people left behind would know exactly when the Lord Jesus is returning. He said that no one knows the day of His return (Matthew 24:36).
6. The pretribulation is impossible because the Apostle Paul wrote the Jesus returns at the “last trumpet” (1 Corinthians 15:52). The pretribulation rapture story says the rapture happens before the trumpets of Revelation.
7. The pretribulation rapture is impossible because the “wrath of God” (1 Thessaonians 5:9) is not a future historical period. Paul wrote in Romans 1:18 that “the wrath of God is being revealed” (present tense). The “wrath of God” in scripture is judgment and hell, not a future “tribulation”.

During a time of a fall, if man does not truly repent, get right with the Lord and ask for forgiveness, God would not continue to work within the man who has/had fallen. God knows all things and especially the heart. Can you imagine if grace and mercy was not given, the blood of Jesus, and His death upon the cross was a lie, then all of us would never have eternal life and be thrown into hell. We all fall short of the glory of God. Thank God, true repentance brings us back to our Savior and the life He truly has for us. Press on!

Revelation 14:14, explains the meeting in the clouds with Jesus, which is also called the harvest of the earth. Also, the hour of testing is described in Revelation 14:15, and the shout is described here as well, so, it is happening just before the 7th trumpet, which is in the middle of the tribulation.

Not brilliant at all...Jack teaches the fallacious doctrine that the Rapture and 2nd Advent of Christ are two, temporally separate events.
Notice, for example, 1 Thes. 4:13-18...verse 15 makes it CLEAR that the Apostle is speaking about the "coming of the Lord"...this language is about the 2nd Advent.
The 2nd Advent of Christ and the Rapture are the SAME EVENT! Not temporally separate ones as Dispensational Futurism teaches.
Jn. 14:1-3 is the 2nd Advent...the Rapture and 2nd Advent happen at the SAME TIME!
To separate the Rapture from the 2nd Advent is a grievous mistake, and it is built upon the entire fallacious system of Futurism, first systematized by the Jesuit Theologian, Francisco Ribera (and, agreed upon later by the Jesuit Theologian, Robert Bellarmine).
Both Futurism and Preterism were systematized by two different Jesuits in order to combat the Protestant/Evangelical teaching of Bible prophecy: Historicism.
Jack Hibbs, and all Dispensational Futurists unwittingly and ignorantly side with the Jesuits over-and-against the Reformation.

Osborne in his book Revelation lists a number of weaknesses of the system, including: (1) an identification only with Western Church history; (2) the inherent speculation involved in the parallels with world history; (3) the fact that it must be reworked with each new period of world history.
The historicist position, . . . suffers from the inability of interpreters of this school to establish a specific verifiable criterion of judgment whereby positive identification for the fulfillment of specific prophecies can be proved to be historically fulfilled by specific events in world history, in historical instances of fulfillment to which most of the interpreters of this school could agree. The method requires the student of Revelation to go outside the Bible and seek for the fulfillment of predictions in the past events of world history, and to one not well taught in history the method is impossible to carry out, leaving the book of Revelation largely closed to the ordinary reader.
The historical interpreters differ so much among themselves that we may well ask, Which one of them are we to believe? It is this very diversity which has caused so many earnest students to put the Apocalypse aside in despair.

I listened to a message recently that said "the falling away" actually, in the first Bible writings, says, "departure". I wish now I had taken notes. Departure; rapture, falling away.
We were always taught it meant people falling from the faith.

Stacy, you were right the first time when you saw the falling away as the Falling away from the Faith. It is also called the Great Apostacy. These people are using 2Thes.2:1-4 as meaning meaning the departure or taking away. This is absolutely wrong.
Now Paul was a very educated man and if he would have meant rapture for the falling away of the faith, then this is how his sentence in verse 3 would sound like.
" The rapture cannot happen until the rapture happens first." A ridiculous statement that Paul would not say, and is also and oxymoron. Paul is much more educated than this.
Here is his actual statement in the Bible of verse 3; "Don't be fooled by anything they might say. That day of the Lord will not come until the turning away from God happens. And that day will not come until the Man of Evil appears, the one who belongs to hell."
Also see here that Paul uses the rapture (his coming to gather us unto himself) in verse 1, and the Day of the Lord (pouring out of God's Wrath upon the wicked) as the same day. The Day of the Lord and the rapture happen on the same day at the end of the 7 years at the blowing of the 7th Trumpet.
Here is what the Bible says of the blowing of the final Trumpet; Rev 11:15 The seventh angel blew his trumpet. Then there were loud voices in heaven. The voices said, "The kingdom of the world has now become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah. And he will rule forever and ever."
In Jack Hibbs teaching here, he says that in Revelation the angel said, "Come up here," as meaning the rapture. Then why don't pre-trib teachers use the same words spoken to the Two Witnesses who prophesied for 3 1/2 years in the streets of Jerusalem and were finally killed at the end of the Great Tribulation. Then the voice said, "Come up here," and they were translated or as Jack Hibbs say, were raptured up to heaven. But..... this one is at the END of the 7 years. If one come up here is good enough to be the rapture, they why leave out the other come up here?

The scriptures are very clear that the Beast will be given power over the Saints for a season. We are going to be here.
That's the tribulation saints...not the church.
The rapture happens just prior to God's wrath being poured out which happens on the Day of The Lord. That day is preceded by the sign of the Moon turning to blood and the sun being black. When God's wrath is poured out it will be so bad that in Revelations said there is silence in heaven because of what is about to happen. The day of Lord is NOT an interchangeable term with The Tribulation.

The Day of the Lord starts with the pre-trib rapture and ends after the tribulation and millennial kingdom reign of Christ and satan's final rebellious try at the Lord and His saints in Jerusalem.

Joel 2:31 in the Bible states, "The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the LORD come".
Matthew 24:29 “Immediately after the distress of those days

and the moon will not give its light;
the stars will fall from the sky,
and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’[b]
Just before that in Matthew 24:18 Jesus is describing the "man of sin" being revealed by being at the temple and claiming to be God. In the verse 24:29 above he says Immediately AFTER the distress of those days" where he's describing to BELIEVERS, the disciples and others what to expect during the tribulation.
the Bible, 2 Thessalonians 2:3-10 describes the "man of sin" as someone who will be revealed before the Day of the Lord comes. The verse says, "Let no man deceive you by any means, for that Day shall not come, unless there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition". In 2 Thessalonians 2:3-10, the "man of sin" is described as one who will be revealed before the Day of the Lord comes.
@@ChildOfTheOneTrueAlmightyGod those verses, and again there are more, such as in Revelations and Daniel, that tell clearly that the sign of the day of the lord commencing is the sun going dark and the moon turning to blood or not giving its light. Jesus, Peter, Revelations and more clearly tell us those signs and "that day" will not occur until the man of sin is revealed and nearly everyone agrees, because it's clear in the bible, that that occurs mid way though the 7 year period. The v day of the lord and the tribulation are not synonymous and are very different. The tribulation is the wicked persecuting and even killing everyone they can because Satan knows his time is coming to an end. The Day of the Lord is when God says enough and takes us that remain out and destroys the wicked by pouring our HIS wrath. It will be a horrible even and yes he did promise we won't suffer that.
As one man, who had been appointed by his church to research the pretrib and was considered his church's resident expert and was still pretrib after his study, agreed to must go home and read the 3 verses above, in their full context, came back to me and said "well, i cannot say WHEN the rapture happens but i can say with absolute conviction that it does not happen before the tribulation. Those verses make it clear." You have to ignore those verses, have to say Jesus gave the incorrect order of events to still be pretrib. I trust Jesus, Paul, the prophet Joel, the infallible word of God over so called bible experts that disagree with the scriptures. Take a look, read the verses, as the Bible says the Holy Spirit is our teacher, ask the Holy Spirit to reveal the truth, whatever it may be. I'm confident He will and you'll see the truth.
