I am completely new to wilderness survival. Literally last night was my first night of videos and drunk book ordering lol. I ordered this book last night and received it late this afternoon. I have read 34 pages of this book and it is not about let me tell you how to do this. it is more about check out what I have done, where I have messed up and my funny stories of what I have learned and why. Experience is knowledge. "Ask me how I know" is a powerful statement that shares attempts and failings only to pass the correct knowledge to others. So far it really is very well written and very easy and clear to understand. I only came on UA-cam to watch videos how lean to, Wikiup, stacked debris wall and thatch huts are built. Good knowledge verbally from the book but had to enhance further knowledge by watching videos. That being said you are spot on about what this book is. Great stories and explained in a way that shows you how to stay calm and take stalk of the situation in order to logically prepare yourself instead of whine about what you are facing and waste valuable energy (both mentally and physically). GREAT BOOK WITH MY LACK OF KNOWLEDGE I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Sounds like a really great book, Nate. Like you I have the other rule of three, but phrase it as 3 seconds without thinking. Think this is going to be a good series of yours, thanks buddy 👍 🙂
It was my first book I learned from when I was 14 and I'm 50 now.
