It only gives 140cm. Another option is to remove the headrests temporarily fold the front and second seats flat. This is not a bad option, especially if travelling by yourself. Many people build a bed to go in the back, which goes over second row seat folded forward, but not tumbled forward. This gives about 180cm to the back of the front seats.

Try again, don't worry about the click, just see if there is a point at which, when folding the top section, that you can tip the seat forward. If not, it is possible that something is jammed in the lock mechanism under the seat. I once left a shirt on the floor in the back and dropped the seats down, I had a hell off a time getting it to unlock with that bit of shirt in the mechanism. All else fails, get professional help, lol.
