Great review! Brunt spends more money flooding social media with influencers giving extremely bias reviews than they do on boot quality. The worst part is, they're constantly pounding their chest about the American Working Man yet selling a cheap subpar Chinese product.
I have a pair, different style...actually not too bad to me. Not at all the greatest boot ever, but mid level. They did break in and get more comfortable after a few days. I think they will wear out much quicker than my Dr Martens, but I'll know in a couple more months, been wearing them every day for 2 months now.

As a young teenager on the farm my dad insisted we get me some work boots. So my mom did at the local discount store toughest crappiest boot any man has ever seen. Would get blisters after just a few hours couldn't break in the leather. Dad tried to wear them for a few days to try bust them down but couldn't be done. Luckily I learned early in life what a good boot feels like.
Love your honesty Nick! I was almost thinking about giving them a try but decided I’ll stick with my tried and true Thorogood moc toes. Glad I did and after watching this I’m glad I didn’t waste my money. Much respect to you guys for honest content!

I will say copper work insoles make them even better.
My son got some, says initially they were terrible, but after a few days he said they were the best boots he's owned. He is a heavy equipment operator, a mechanic and he drives truck. I'm going with HIS review. Bought a pair for my husband for Christmas.

I appreciate the honest review. Not in the market for boots at this time. I have had Redwings in the past and they are the best boots I've ever had/ Not sure how they are nowadays but at the time I had them they were awesome. Just not many Redwing dealers anymore.

I have 3 pairs of Iron Rangers.The first one I wear 7 years together with others.More than 10000 hours and 5000 miles very rough use.Super boots for the price.
I have a pair of the Marins. Mine are comfortable and have held up for a long time. Yeah they’re made in China, but I work indoor in a papermill where it’s really hot and nasty. Not had any issues with them at all.
I wear Thorogoods everywhere else besides work tho.
When they first appeared on social media they said boots were made in US
Now it’s China
I bought a pair I drive a bus and they have been great to me. They have h held up nicely. Not bad for the money and yes they are not red wings we get that
I’m glad you gave us an honest opinion on them I have bought boots in the past and wound up throwing them away because they hurt my feet. I will admit I’m a fat old man and I’m hard on good boots.

I bought the brunt 6 inch ringer boots around a year ago. To my surprise they've held up better than any other non leather lace up boot and some leather boots I've owned. I work for a town,so they've been through asphalt work,concrete work,carpentry work,metal work,chainsaw work,trash work,ditch work,sewer work and so on! They've remained waterproof up until today,the hinge part of the boot while walking has torn. The material is just not tough enough to last forever. I'm ( VERY) abusive on my boots,I just go at everything 100% and really don't think about the life span of my ppe.
BUT the landscaper said they were the greast thing since sandals. Are you sure , that landscaper sure seems to know his chocolate sandwiches. Great clip. 👍

I wasn't inpressed with the marin which you have, I do like the ryng though. LIghtest boots I've ever had. But only last about a year
I never heard of them before I saw them on here. I use to buy Redwing shoes until I went to a chemical plant and I needed special shoes to wear in the plant. I purchased Redwing and they were not comfortable so I got a pair made by a sneaker company and they only lasted 2 months. I walked about 8 miles a night. I ended up buy a wierd name that an outside company that was allowed to come in to the plant and sell on the spot and they lasted as long as it took to finish up the job there. They were not the best but not the worst either.
I love brunts and I just happen to be an 11 🧐🤔

I got a great deal on some Wolverines and love them. I was about to buy some Brunts but i am glad i didn't. Def a lot of marketing with these guys.
I got a pair of the Ryng low, they’ve been okay for 7 months but am gonna go back to the redwing Ecolites again.
Maybe if you slam the boots a little harder every 5 seconds youll break them in..
I’ll stick to my USA made JK boots and Thorogood moc toes. I will never cheap out on boots. I would buy harbor freight tools and deal with smashed fingers and knuckles before buying a crap pair of boot and dealing with foot, ankle, knee, hip, and back pain because of bad shoes.

I saw a ton of ads about brunt and almost pulled the trigger on a pair. After seeing yours, and so many other honest reviews, such as Rose Anvil, I decided not to. I've had red wings and red backs and have been super happy. I suppose I'm going to stick with those two brands.

you are one of few videos that has a negative review of these. I do not plan on trying them. I do wonder what you think of Old Mulla boots though as you seem like a smarter guy than my self so you would know better than I would if they are good or not. I mean to me old mulla are good but I could be totally wrong. I also have to admit my most warn pair of boots are red wing. They were purchased back in 2019 and still going strong.

I almost buy a pair online until I saw they are made in China and decided not get them...
Wore Redwing for last 8 sets before that worx smoths and what not. My switch was to rock rooster with side zippers. Laces never come undone composition toe and on top of it I work on machines in good plant that uses salt water brine these are only ones that insole and boot lasted more then a year. Try em 120 pr less and well worth it.
Maybe BRUNT should spend Less $$ on marketing, and more money on R&D on what goes into a great boot.

I paid around 350$ i wanna say for my redwings about 10 years ago and for the first 3-4 years i wore them just about every day and i bought a pair of the brunts you have in softtoe and there alright for 120$ but they arent the boots theyre trying to claim that they are. They say you can send them back im the first 30 days and i was on the fence about doing it but i agree, i would not buy a 2nd pair
Meant to say i still have my original pair of redwing steel toes and they still look/feel really good for 10+ years. Next pair I buy will be wings hands down

Nick try yourself some NICKS! I have 2 sets of the same boot in 2 different leathers. I don't trust stuff that shoved down your throat, companies that don't advertise are the go to ones. They're like walmart brahmas lol... I also hate boots that have branding on them
I don’t have Nicks but I have 2 pair of JK and those pnw boot makers know what they are doing. They are tanks and offer the best support out of any boots I’ve ever tried.

Bro I bought a pair of Carhartt mock toe boots to switch things up from my redbacks.. the boots were $160 bucks.. my wife thinks they look so great but they’re the same way as these.. the most uncomfortable garbage I’ve ever worn.. should have just went with another pair of old trusty.

They got me with the marketing. I absolutely hate mine as well. Bought them cause work was buying us all a pair annually and it was time to buy them or lose the credit. I waited to really wear them until my other pair died and it was too late to return the POS. WORST BOOTS IVE WORN YET

These boots are complete trash. I am a heavy equipment mechanic and on my feet all day. I never had a pair of boots hurt my feet so much, and they probably won't even last me a year. Thanks for the honest review. I wish I had seen this before wasting my money.
You are full of it. I'll be buying another pair at the end of the year. I'm not paid by Brunt, I had problems with my feet for a long time and this is the first pair of boots that I'm not limping when I get home. I understand they won't last as long as Redwing or Thorogood but $150 every year is fine if I feel good at the end of the day. It's hilarious how many people want to call these trash because because they are made in China but check nearly everything you wear. It's laughable.

You wore them for like 3 hours. Reviewing any pair of footwear after 3 hours is pathetic, especially boots that need broken in. You had an agenda you wanted to push with them and that's what you did.

They're $139 on their webstie, not sure where you're getting the 180-200 from. Anyways, I've been wearing mine for over a year, on my feet quite a bit for work, I also have a farm so on feet alot for that as well, they are very comfortable and held up very well. You must have a lemon pair or as much and you were dogging them sounds to me like you have a issue with the company and so much the product. And yes I plan to buy a second pair with these do finally wear out.

Somebody showed me these about a year ago and he was really excited about them. I had just bought a pair of Nicks. I took one look at them and instantly knew they were absolute crap. I couldn't bring myself to say it to him while I was wearing a $550 pair of boots. Felt like an asshole. I can't believe the hype I see on these. They're pure junk. Thank you for this video. I'm currently hate-watching Brunt reviews and this is the first one that was totally honest up front!
