I drove them around and handled show related errands for them. I took to Shifty in particular, though. He actually spoke deeply and openly about his struggles with addiction. He invited me out with him a couple of times to some parties in Hollywood. I went to one of them. I honestly felt so bad to see him in that struggle, live. I will say, he was a genuine dude with a gentle side about him. R.I.P. to him and Rodney. Drugs are a terrible talent destroyer!

I saw them in Connecticut he was so nice I also saw him on celebrity rehab it was sad to see him talk about his son I am 19 years sober I lost my sister and my niece to addiction it's a bitch but we grew up with an alcoholic father and a pill popping mother it's all we knew. He died long ago back in 2004 only a few years after this song, he died from a drug related heart attack. Seth the lead singer, he died just a month or so ago, but he did also die from complications due to his drug use.

I think he found it easier to give up everything else, but Cocaine was the one thing he could never fully get away from no matter how much he legitimately tried.

He died long ago back in 2004 only a few years after this song, he died from a drug related heart attack. Seth the lead singer, he died just a month or so ago, but he did also die from complications due to his drug use.

Basically out of all the drugs he used over the course of his life, Cocaine was the one he struggled the most with. I think he found it easier to give up everything else, but Cocaine was the one thing he could never fully get away from no matter how much he legitimately tried.
