Me and my family watched this documentary. We are traditional beef farmers, our cows are all grass fed and we make our own barley feed for them. This documentary was uneducated garbage- he clearly hadn’t done his research. At one point he visited a small cattle farm where he spoke to one of the farmers there; she explained how she had made the farm environmentally friendly and he didn’t listen to one bit of it. He shouted at people with a megaphone and stuck stickers around the local shops- adding to the annoyance. He kept referring to areas in America and other Continents; most British cattle are grass fed, not soy fed. He made a diner in a loo roll factory and converted their whole cafeteria into a diner with only 3 burgers with the aim to humiliate those who ate beef in front of their colleagues. My message is to buy local, British beef. Grass fed. No deforestation or soy. Vegan products contain soy which cannot be grown in the UK, meaning it has more food miles and is produced by a huge big company. By local and support local farms. Thanks Ben for sicking up for us!
Harry Metcalf on Harry's Farm UA-cam channel has done a brilliant response to this Channel 4 nonsense. Many people, including my family, will continue to eat beef. We will continue to support hard-working UK beef farmers.
You are delulu 😆 most cows in the UK are not grass fed. The amount of land it takes to raise grass fed cows is beyond unsustainable. 75% of soy goes to feeding cows worldwide, and you want to point the finger at vegans for this mess? 😬 Cows are sentient, they experience an unfathomable amount of fear when they're getting ready to be slaughtered. There's no need, it's unnecessary abuse, and now we face the karma of our greed 👍
@@callumr9032come back when you have more understanding of why Soya is grown, and what is used for. Perhaps start off by looking at the ingredients list on pack of biscuits

Good luck the money speaks for itself, we all have varying degrees of the cost of living crisis, we cannot afford expensive beef nor can the entire food industry be willing to pay for that kind of meat with such limited quantity if we begin limiting british beef
