I have already seen this performance in Philippe Sly's profile. The voice is gorgeous, round and expressive. It is one of the most elegant yet innovative renditions of this aria ever!

I love this and it is quite helpful to follow if there’s no sheet music at hand, but I have noticed a discrepancy in the score at measures 51-56 and 91-96. The words sung by Philippe Sly and all other recordings are “be raised incorruptible” while the video shows just the word “incorruptible”. I’ve tried to sing it as shown but it just doesn’t sound right.

The sheet music in the video is what was originally written by Handel. What’s being sang I believe is a slightly edited version of the sheet music. Unsure why it works like this but I have the sheet music and at the bottom of that page it has “original part written by Handel” and it shows the notes in the video

No he sings at the baroque pitch standard of a=415 hz which is pretty much a half step lower than today. Its an historical approach to make it sound closer to how it did sound back in handels time. So he would sing by todays pitch standard of a~440 hz in d flat major
