I have a BX2360 and love everything about it EXCEPT the fuel filters. I finally got a kit and moved the location and style of the filter to match my L series tractor.
Great video Ben.I know that changing those fuel filters were a pain for you.I bet that engine is thankful also.Take care my friend,be safe and have a blessed good day.🚜👏👏❤️🙏
I know what you mean, on my new holland workmaster 75 you have to remove 1 end of a power steering line to get the oil filter out of the engine bay. And the filter is upside down so you cannot change without spilling oil everywhere. Got to love engineers that come up with these designs.
Well, it wasn't easy, but you took care of the filters and the oil change pretty good. I want to wish the best for you and your family and a Happy Thanksgiving!
I've noticed on the B7500 and LX2610 that I've owned the oil filter is up against the radiator hose and you have to be careful threading the filter on. Great video.
They sure don’t make things easy to service nowadays. They are trying to make it so the average person has to bring their tractor back to the dealer for everything. Enjoyable video Ben thanks
I like that where you said you didn’t know whether to remove the skid plate or just go for it lol. I use the same mantra myself. Listen, Ben, I had a BX23s that I purchased a BXpanded removable skid plate for when I bought it. It hooks up into your mower deck lift for when you have your deck off. They probably make one for your model. It’s a more protective design than the Kubota model - especially where that hydraulic fan is concerned. Just thought I’d throw that out there. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours; as always my best to my friend Benny.
If we used it for more than just plowing snow with the deck off I’d definitely get one of those plates or build something for it. Happy Thanksgiving and thanks for watching!
Wow I sure am glad that you made this video Ben, because I am going to have to do the same thing to mine, the difference will be I don’t have a cement shop floor to be on, so if you want to come to north Georgia to help a feller out I wouldn’t mind lol . Happy Thanksgiving by the way
Good morning Ben, happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. Yes, indeed on the MX series I think Kubota tractor doesn’t communicate with the loader manufacture.👍🇺🇸😂
That fuel filter is the only bad thing I have to say with my Kubota BX2680....they should have spent a few bucks more and just put the fuel filter up by the engine like other tractors are and skip that 2 filter nonsense. My drain pan fits under the tractor just fine without having to lift the front end.
Great info. If you had to buy a sub compact tractor for mowing today what would you buy? I’m gonna need a 4x4 mower next year and not sure whether to go with Kubota, Deere, or find one of the older Massey’s
@@glockky1 on these little tractors I’m not sure you can go wrong. They all seem pretty dependable. Not having personal experience with anything else I can’t really help much. These do make an awesome mower, especially when you have hills. Thanks for watching
If I had to buy another tractor I'd still get the Kubota BX series. I have the BX2680....yep that filter under the tractor is a pain in the ass, and with as much as the tractor costs, I don't understand why they couldn't have gone with 1 filter, and put it up by the engine like other tractors with a spin on filter setup. I have the 60" mid mount mower deck for my BX2680, it mows great, but with my situation I have to remove the deck when I'm done mowing because the opening into the shop isn't wide enough for the deck to fit...that'll be corrected this spring, but its just annoying having to install and remove the deck every time I want to mow....I don't have the drive over deck, and really don't care to mess with those systems, if you don't get it just right it don't hookup, just simple to roll the deck under the tractor and put the 2 pins in and the front cradle mount.
Great video young man!! Man them fuel filter's was a bugger see why you dreaded that job. I'd prolly got upset pretty quick n had to take a break before i really made a mess of things lol those little kubota engines sure are good hard to find any that will start that quickly. I've had couple of the old b7100s good little tractors but didn't have loaders. Thanks for sharing be safe have fun. Can't wait for your new new video
Good Lord Ben, what a mess to change a fuel filter. You may need to start doing yoga classes to make it easier for you. There is no reason to make doing routine maintenance items so cotton pickin' difficult and hard to get to. I just bought a Sany excavator a couple months ago and am getting ready to do my second oil change and hydraulic filter service and one thing that impressed me with that brand was how easily accessible every filter and drain plug is. Everything is out in the open where doing a complete service is not a dreaded chore. If they can do that on a tight, cramped excavator surely to goodness Deere, Kubota and the others can do it on a tractor. Happy Thanksgiving
@@rtundlt1 I’ve rented a few Sany excavators and was really impressed by them. Ease of maintenance is a very important factor on equipment especially if it’s ran frequently. Thanks for watching!

I believe it was exaggerated by my camera being on the wrong setting. But at an idle they do vibrate a good bit on the rubber mounts.
