I appreciate the statement that we need self doubt to exercise confidence, because fear a real human emotion but it reminds me of my favorite saying, "Feel the fear, and do it anyway" We should be Brave enough to be bad at something new otherwise well never know what were capable of, just like Tony Stark

" the same way you can't exercise courage without fear, you can't exercise confidence without self doubt" how succinct

Can't say I look up to Tony Stark but his confidence has taken him a long way. Growing my confidence will help me tremendously on my sales calls.

You bring up a good point. You don't necessarily have to look up to someone to recognize a distinct skill or attribute and adopt it as your own. Sometimes the horn effect keeps me from seeing good traits in people I generally don't admire.

It bums me out that such an informative and incredibly practical channel does not get a gazillion views and subs because you certainly deserved it. I discovered this channel because of the "Be like Batman" video because as a self-employed intorvert with a lot of time but little social life, I was always compelled by the idea of using a malleable fictional character like Batman or Tony Stark as some sort of inspiration to achieve more in real life (Yes, I've mentioned this to friends and it's now kinda obvious why I don't have any!). I always believed there is something valuable and practical to be derived from these, and I have a Batman collection that sits at the side of my office (I even shot a video for my YT) where I use the collection to motivate me to be more disciplined, work out and keep my aging brain fresh.

You and I are cut from the same cloth. Academics love to cite Sun Tzu and all, but we have some incredible role models in our own time, if we just get over ourselves and look for things to learn from Statk, Wayne, and others. I plan to do MANY more such videos.
And thank you for your encouragement!! You're awesome!

I like how you go over Tony Stark as a character.
