TFOTHOU is so so good. I binged it in one day as well. Def an EAP fan! He’s my bday twin. Each episode was based off of one of his works. It was very cool how they did that.

@@mandyspooks yes! I went to the EAP speakeasy recently when it was in AZ and they did most of these stories that night and so I brushed up on my EAP.
Then I watched this show once I saw it release and it clicked haha! It’s their interpretation so it’s not exact but def inspired by each story. I believe each episode is named the actual poem/story it’s inspired by too.
I loved My Roommate is a Vampire! if you want some vampire recs Blood Moon by Jullian Graves was a short sweet and smutty one, How to Fake Date a Vampire was also fun! For a more serious enemies to lovers with vampires King of Battle and Blood was good!! Good luck on your move I'm also in the process of moving and woof!

🎉 For Flanagan’s The Fall of the House of Usher!!! Am so so SO pleased you guys binged it and loved it. 🥰 I spent the last week work commutes listening to podcasts discussing it. Am ready for a re-watch as been 6 months and hoping to do that in May. There are too many connections to name in a comment on here - starting with the individual episode names to character names etc. Will message you to check in on fav characters/death etc. 😊 Been reading King - finally read IT and am now rewatching the newer adaptations then will listen to podcasts discussing them. Reread Pet Sematary and been listening to The Losers Club podcast discussing that. Both movies are probably due a rewatch and I still haven’t caught the prequel 😢 that needs rectifying! So pleased is halfway to Halloween - our time is coming. 🖤🧡
Also I recommended Cult of the Lamb on the Switch. It’s cozy horror haha! I’m so addicted!

I agree with you on frozen empire! It was doing too much and the sentimentality of afterlife was just not there. Eek! I will be sure to stay away from Imaginary!
I did a whole video on The Fall of the House of usher. It was my fave!! Definitely read Poe! He has some great stories. My faves are the Black Cat and Premature Burial.
My Roomate is a Vampire was really cute! Not my fave because I wanted a bit more character development but I also breezed through it too!

Totally agree on Imaginary. It was super underwhelming and the teenager was so stereotypically edgy and annoying... It's obnoxious when they write teenagers like that in horror movies. The Pope's Exorcist did it too and I find it so odd.
Eek I won’t watch exorcism movies for a while but that’s good to know lol glad I’m not alone on Imaginary
