The guy wasn't so innoncent after all, the joke he's been playing with for like almost a year, as what we all know, was meant to dealt humiliation to China. Loved the China videos! I went back to look at all the negative comments on the first video though, and I couldn't actually find any? Lots of people suggesting using VPN if you're ever back there and want to access your socials, but they seemed to be trying to be helpful and didn't sound negative to me. Maybe I didn't scroll through enough of them? Either way, you are an amazing drummer and I look forward to your next videos!
I feel the same, and unfortunately why he regarded people who were simply trying to be helpful as negative comments.

I'm glad you like China. My second home (by marriage). I totally understand how it can be a challenge, my best mate from England came to my wedding and really struggled without his daily Costa coffee and burger when most of the food was insanely spicy or made of strange things! But he loved China, same as you did!

I could never understand people, who put negative comments. It is you choice, if you want to use VPN or anything else, like also what you eat and what you take with you to eat. Even if it legal to use, and there is a restaurant with food you love, on each corner. It ist your personal choise what you take with you and how you use Internet and social media.And you do not have to explain your choices to anyone. I really enjoyed both videos from China. Keep doing your things, and don´t care if anyone is ok with it or not. This is your life, and as long as you do things, you are ok with, everything is perfect.

This was great!
I toured China in 91. Our lead guitarist and the sound man both ate peanut butter for days and days because the food is quite different. The taste and smell is very different. International travel when it comes to food varies wildly and for some there's just no way around it. We did get taken to Pizza Hut in Beijing and had my first Hawaiian pizza. Last day before leaving the country, on the way out we hit a McD's in Hong Kong and we all ate like double what we normally would eat because it's McDonald's and we just went bonkers. I'm sorry you felt the need to explain yourself to the internet. For me, I had to ask "what's in this" a LOT because of food allergies. Almost ate coconut ice cream which would have caused a rainbow ejection in public had I not and just went with "i better just be polite and eat what I'm given to be polite".

Being a bass player for 35 years and I've enjoyed your playing on UA-cam videos over the years. I feel you and Mr. Beast opening the doors to China's social media sites might be risky. That said I was a charter member of MADD, musicians against drunk drummers. 😂 I hope the kids in China can one day enjoy real freedom to enjoy music, the only real universal language.
