There's a dark fan theory that goes along with the song "Stay," and their future song, "Lovesick Girls." In "Stay," fans, including me, believe that the Music Video is telling a sad story. Jisoo was swinging on a skateboard seat next to a car so we assume that she got into a horrible accident. Rosé is seen hanging around a dummy that's wrapped in bound in tape so we assume she was in a toxic relationship and felt suffocated. I can't remember the assumptions for Lisa and Jennie, unfortunately. Nevertheless, all 4 of the members are in this place where they're dead but not in Heaven or H*ll. It's an in-between. Throughout the song, they are full of despair and searching for each other in individual scenes. It isn't until the end that they find one another and rejoice, dancing around and embracing each other.
