i hope to god they made the episodes longer than their previous games, im not usually a fan of 'finding yourself' type of games and all that, but watching Berleezy playthroughs made me realize life is strange is an exception. this game looks great, and the characters have improved facial expressions, cant wait.
oh man, i'm so excited to play in a close knitted town again like arcadia bay, it gave me a feeling of comfort and peace that i kinda missed while playing lis2
Arcadia Bay is a realistic place though, this "Haven Springs" place is too idyllic, even the name is just like ugh it just sounds and looks so fake and made-up which ig some people don't care about but it kinda matters to me
@@RealGaIaxy i get where you're coming from, but i think it's made to be like that, to be so perfect, but so flawed... haven springs kind of round off the cinematic parallel of having a perfect town with not so perfect people, i mean the game is titled "true colors" for reasons more than alex's powers🤷♀️ plus arcadia is not a peaceful game 😭but i still felt that way so i think haven springs will do the same just fine

If you'd like the opinion of a graphics 3D artist who develops game content, here it is. I watched this in HD, paused the video several times to examine the details so here it is. First thing I noticed was the hand painted textures, doesn't look like your typical photogrammetry mostly used these days, it has a painting like art style to it. I see layered texture maps such as normals and metallic shaders, which you can see on the worn paint on the buildings. It generally looks very crisp and sharp. I don't see any polygon angles on the character models, looks very smoothed, nice topology. The animations look mocap, I like the smile animations, looks pretty natural which isn't easy to do. Overall I like the artistic style of the game, looks very well done, great quality whoever directed the art did a fantastic job (I never really say that much). Even if it isn't die-hard realism it still looks good to me, looks very original. Doesn't look overly complex or too low poly/optimized like for example GTA5. There's allot of nice details, I can tell allot of love was put into this project. Well that's about everything I can cover, art wise. Take care everyone.

@@austinmasoni3577 Kinda, but the first game wasn't entirely a mystery. Instead we were basically always told it was Nathan just for the twist that it's actually Jefferson to come in last minute. A real mystery would be not having any/many suspects at all
@@AmalGum001 Yeah, it wasn't really a mystery behind WHO was the bad guy, but it was definitely a mystery of where girls were being taken in Arcadia Bay. There was an entire segment in the game where you figured out where the dark room was, I feel like that was definitely a mystery
I can't wait to visit Haven Springs and see Steph again! I love her character so much! I just hope there's a pre-order release date soon for the Switch. I'm gonna re-buy all the LiS games for it!

i’m definitely picking ryan over steph, i really like her but i feel like she’s the option most people are gonna pick and i want to have a different arc of the story than what most people will get. i like to be the minority and not always try to fit in with the crowd. besides there’s something about him that i see that’s just so charming.
Looks like a nice place to chill and relax while taking much needed breaks from solving your own personal conspiracy! I think I might eventually buy the franchise along with the one about that adventurous blond little boy (I forgot the title name.) These seem like good games I'd like to play while taking a break from button mashing and time investing intensive games that are in my PS4 and PS5 backlogs.
Preordered the Ultimate Bundle on Steam when I first heard of this back at the beginning of May and been looking forward to this release every since. And I remember Steph's roleplaying in Before the Storm, so curious to see the live action roleplaying here. 😉
