- Several political parties are staging pickets outside Pretoria High School for Girls. The school has been rocked by fresh allegations of racism that have led to disciplinary processes expected to take place later today. SABC News Reporter Patricia Visagie is tracking the story and joins us live.

Affirmative actions is a necessary but it has to come to an end but it should Last for the same amount of years like apartheid .
To uplift the disadvantaged the advantaged had to be discriminated against , in a fairy tale world we would not need to discriminate against the advantaged but in the real world it was necessary . It has to come to an end though , 46 years of affirmative action and then it should end

Racism in SA remains legislated and even institutionalized
Affirmative action is a necessary discrimination for the upliftment of the disadvantaged but it should end after 45 years or 46 years , it's at year 30 now so another 15 years then it should end . Oppression sadly puts a country in a position to institute discrimination against the advantaged for the upliftment of the disadvantaged and it will take many years to undo the damage that was caused . Everyone 18 and older can vote and the vote counts equally compared to the apartheid regime or Pre apartheid laws that were also oppressive laws .. everyone can go into public bathrooms , there is no segregated universities , everyone can apply to any uni in South Africa regardless of race . There is no white only or black only public places or transport.. public beaches can be visited and uswd by everyone regardless of race . If u talking about affirmative actions it is very necessary but it must come to an end at some point . The only way change for blCk ppl was going to happen was by way of laws imposing levels of favouritism.. it makes sense , it seem unfair if u not black but if u look into the history , u maybe would understand even tho it's frustrating for people who are not blK .. the only issue I have is the lack of inclusion for the Khoisan ppl who are the only native ppl to southern Africa . They have been overshadowed and overlooked intentionally which is disgusting
You are 100% correct. There are more than a 100 racist laws on the books. Apartheid started officially in 1948, then in 1994 got new management, and in 2024 still going strong.
