Racism is a big issue in this country. I'm still waiting for the newly elected minister of basic education to say something. Perhaps gogo Zille kept her quiet 🤫.
Did any of the education ministers before her ever say anything about racism investigations? They leave it to the respective departement and authorities to deal with.
Black people didn't have an apartheid government. Black people don't innately harbor an instinctive and corrosive hate towards white people. Blacks don't consider whites as less than humans. See the point?
These kids were born post 1994. All they know is democracy but unfortunately, everything in my country is racialized. Some people make a whole career out of it#RaceHustlers
Shouldn't the ANC educate childrens to know the differences between critism and racism. This got more coverage by far then the 17 year old boy stabbed dead by another student in a school yard. It's pathetic and hypocritical. Black schools have deteriorated or closed but they all worry about this great school because of teenage girls jealousy. 😢
Girls High is a Public school. And it caters for families in the area. It's by no means a white school. Racists must never make you surrender. But I get your point, Kids don't deserve that trauma
Back people are unfortunately struggling to adapt to modern schools, its standards & academic cultures in SA. They are inadvertently ruining the school system 4 all. Perhaps 2 x different schooling systems isnt a bad idea? Keeps everyone happy.
I am black and unfortunately ,this is true. Slowly ruining every functional school system through petty complains. What about the under resourced schools that need the urgent attention they deserve?
Wholeheartedly disagree. I'm black, went to a "modern" high school with people of all races, and was an academic honours candidate (80%+ aggregate for 4 years consecutively) and I'm currently studying at one of the best universities in South Africa. I'm not special, many other black learners have done as I have. In fact, in my school 60-70% of the top 10 candidates were always people of colour. Separating learning is a backwards and primal way of thinking, and quite distasteful if I may say so, and you are very bold and incorrect to assume that black learners as a whole are struggling in "modern" schools. Do better.
@@ragstoriches4775 your an anomaly. Most back metrics pass at age 20/21 years instead of 18yrs. Pass levels had to be dropped to 40% post '94 so a reasonable amount of "new pupils" could just barely pass. AA at tertiary level is used to make up numbers of colour in medicine and engineering. There is plenty of empirical hard evidence to back all of the abobe. I'm not the one who should do better ....
It's arrogance and disregard that makes you say black students are struggling in modern schools first of all the root cause of all of this is the fact that most of our schools have a racist foundation because our so called "modern " schools were never established to accommodate people of colour , secondly when we came out of apartheid no one took the responsibility to decolonise the code of conducts of these schools to accommodate children of colour thirdly if an institution has a foundation of colonization ushered in by the missionaries in the 1600s and has a foundation and history of racism and suddenly the country is ushered into a democracy without dealing with the root causes of things that institution is going to continue spreading that foundation and blooming people who think and act in such a manner . African children should be accommodated in African schools . Do not assume black students are struggling with adjusting to so called modern schools and even if they were the question should be in who's perception of modernization are we speaking from ?
And I am a black student who is in one of the top universities in Africa and I happen to be an Alumni of these so called modern schools you speak of because I was the deputy head girl of that school and one of their top academic achievers so I'm speaking from experience and I know just how these schools code of conducts look like .
This minister is desperate for recognition. We see Lesufi taught him well.
Where is the evidence????
Some WhatsApp messages where released. Did not see any racism there. But 🤷🏽

Why is black racism never televised ..selective racial cases ...they want that school ..time for home school .
Because it would reveal the truth which is not what the Dept of Education and the black students want to come out.
