I do agree with you! You can probably get a decent set of tires for around 1k, and wheels would probably be another 1k. So unless you bought some used wheels and tires. 1k wouldn’t get you much.
huuuh !!??? this video should be how gain 1000$ after getting your first car. Just strip all the weight and your stock tires and suspension will perform at it's best.
The oil catch can is actually an awesome idea! Since these engines (2ZR if I remember correctly) are really oil picky due to an issue with the piston rings (a change in properties mid lifespan in the engine), either you change it every 5,000 miles (yes, even if it’s synthetic) or you will start to have oil consumption issues. So just a way to keep the oil a little bit cleaner so the engine can outlive us like toyota’s do. The car care nut channel has a really good video explaining the whole Toyota and low tension rings issue.
I think it should be added from the start! But changing the oil every 5k is exactly what I do. Want this engine to last a very long time! But I have seen the car care nut, he is for informative when it comes to Toyota engines!
I actually got mines for 1k cheaper than they originally asked ! I needed this video !! I recently lost my e34 so I really been wanting to sup up my car !
Your car is gorgeous. I love the video and that u posted links. Quick question: while i used to drive a 2010 rolla, i now drive a 2013. Any advice for finding blacked out, smokey headlights? Ive tried looking but limited success.
do you have a tutorial on taking off the front bumper and side fenders ?mine is messed up and needs replacement but don’t wanna spend too much at the shop if it’s simple
It is pretty simple to do replace the bumper. And I believe the fenders are just a few screws, but I have not taken them off before. But here is an old video I made installing some fog lights. And I talk about taking the bumper off! ua-cam.com/video/YL6uZ5qVTf0/v-deo.html
@@BrandonStellmach Thanks. I've been watching a ton of your videos. I recently picked up a nice affordable Corolla recently. Do you have the link for your favorite radio?

So with the base tune I have, which is around 7PSI of boost the car feels pretty good. One thing I can say is you still don’t have much low end power because your relying on the normal engine, but once the boost kicks in, it makes a big difference in power and feels really good. And that is also which a worn out clutch that is slipping a little under decent accelerations. Hopefully when I get the car on the dyno we can tune the lower end of the engine a little bit, and try and get a little more power. But all in all it’s been a great upgrade, but the cost starts to add up once you realize you need many other things then just the turbo.
How’s the ride quality on those coilovers? I hear from a lot of people that it’s rough, but I’ve also heard online that with the right settings they can be smooth.
The Rev9 were good coilovers, for the price I thought they were good, especially since you can adjust the dampening. I have truharts on my new coilovers and i honestly think they ride harder then the rev9!
Really interesting video. Imo the best mod you can do in any car is a great set of tires and a good suspension system

this is very true i would almost recommend any car to put an oil catch can in their car especially newer cars

I got a good deal on a 2010 s and wanted to do some light mods. Found your channel and definitely helped me find out what I wanted to do.
That’s great! I love being able to help people find some good mods for their rollas!
What did you give for yours

Before stitching the steering wheel, should get a good stereo and speakers, so you got something to jam to while sewing 🤓
Probably the best way to do it! Jam out while sewing! 👍

The 10.5 gen is much harder to find after market headlights. Possibly try VLAND, and see if they sell a set!

How much are your wheels
The wheels were about 1k when I bought them about 2 years ago.
Where did u got the steering wheel logo ?
It was something I bought off of wish.com. It was very cheap, but seems to be holding on good.
What wheel adapters did you use
I did not need any wheel adapters, these fit right up to the stock hub.
What size tires and wheels do you have?
