While the things Randy said about MVP sound pretty terrible in today’s age and out of context, he at least had a little reasoning behind it. MVP joined a gang when he was 12, went to juvie, and actually spent 9 years in prison for kidnapping and armed robbery. He became friends with a corrections officer who part-timed as a wrestler, which was how he got into the business and eventually joined WWE. So I’m pretty sure he was referencing all that, rather than just randomly calling him a street thug just because he’s black.
Ortons 2009 run would’ve been better if it was just him by himself just attacking people because of his ied gimmick, I think legacy made him look week because in reality, Ted and Cody were basically legend killer Randy orton if you take away the charisma, 20 lbs of muscle, and mic skills, plus they didn’t look threatening at all compared to orton

Thats why Orton got mad and improvised by doing the RKO(look like he made sure to put umph for Kofi not listening) and called him STUPID before pinning him. This effectively buried Kofi who wasn't a main eventer until like 10 yrs later.
